    “Oh, that’s just great. Do you remember your name? Anything at all? Cause I just showed up here and I think I’m pretty much useless at this point,” Inkwell said. “I’m in the middle of nowhere, and last I checked, I didn’t ask for your opinion.”, Inkwell exclaimed.

    “Not sure I’m anyone, at this rate. Look, can you get up? I’m not sure if I can get help if you can’t walk. And what happened?”

    “Um,” Inkwell said. “You okay?” He sheathed the sword, almost cutting a finger off with a fumble, and held out a hand to help her up. “I’m having the most bizarre night.”

    Inkwell hesitated, then slashed at the rope suspending the body bag to the tree. It cut straight through and severed the trunk, and the body bag came tumbling to the ground, twisting in mid air and landing on its back. “What the- you didn’t tell me you made a Shardblade?!”, Inkwell exclaimed. “Are you talking to me,” the bundle on the ground complained. “Because I’m still stuck in this stupid bag.” “Right,” Inkwell noted, cutting open the bag.

    Inkwell blinked, standing before the tree with the body bag. “Uh. Hi. I could cut you down… but not sure how to do that without dropping you on your head.” Physical power was never Inkwell’s strong suit.

    Inkwell looked down at the sword in his hands. Ten years of cosplaying and a month long hyperfixation on fencing YouTube videos had better be good enough. He took off into the woods towards the sound, thorns ripping at his jeans, pine needles crunching softly under his sneakers. He discarded the mask as he ran. “What were you thinking with the mask? So melodramatic.” He pictured a jacket, blue, hooded, plates of lightweight armor sewn between layers of cloth. A raven embroidered on the left breast. He added a belt with a sheath and ran faster.

    Good, I can decide whether or not to make a Narrator later. “I told you,” Inkwell said. “Why don’t you go live your own life?” “The dog,” they both said.

    I don’t know exactly what he is. I made Inkwell at the Clearing, then when I brought him here, it showed up. Its purpose was to keep me from overwhelming the Thread. He is more aware of the Thread than Inkwell, but less powerful. He can’t exist without a character to latch on to, like a parasite, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be Inkwell. He’s obsessed with the idea of order and restoring the Plot, so I guess he’s lawful neutral or lawful evil?

    So, from what I’ve presented so far, could 9/10mmHB#2 be one?

    Uh, question. I have the general idea, but what is the nature of a narrator? The Rees the authors, characters, but a narrator is something in between?

    Inkwell stumbles into a sparse forest of tall pine trees. Mountains loom I. The distance. I don’t know, 9/10mmHb#2. You can’t just try and kill something because you feel threatened. He sits, waiting for something to happen.

    Dishes are time consuming. Inkwell cuts a hole in reality, to somewhere else. The air sizzles as the hole closes behind him.

    Inkwell shrugged. “I stabbed it with my pen a bunch. Does that count?”

    “What is the purpose of fog? To obscure. Explain to me how you are different,” Inkwell finally asks.

    She makes a good point, Inkwell thinks at 9/10mmHB#2.

    The ocean is the first respite to him since the mosquitos. “Who are you?”

    Immediately, 9/10mmHB#2 tries to seize control and run away, but Inkwell isn’t fazed, and he rebuffs the attempt. “It wouldn’t mean much to you. You can call me Inkwell, I guess.”

    Slowly, he nods.

    Inkwell is completely baffled and chooses not to respond. You would think he would learn to let other people speak first by this time.

    Inkwell stared. “I don’t want to be a Truthwatcher, I have enough voices in my head.”

    I… see? This was basically telling i&9 that plot is dead (sounds like adonalsium is dead), stay out of the plot (Inkwell won’t, 9/10mmHB#2 will)… but what does “Find Him” mean?

    Yes, but Inkwell has no idea what you are talking about. I don’t know who you’re trying to get i&9 to find, the inkling who has the Shield? Is this or is this not directed towards me? I don’t understand. @Aeoryi
