I have a couple. Probably will have more. This personality mix calls for some fun stories.

I am DMing for my father, sister, and neighbor. My dad is a 40 something retired soldier, my neighbor (the youngest one here) is a rogue, my sister is a 16 year old (human aging equivalent) sorcerer gnome who's only dream is for one of the party members to give her a piggyback ride.

We walk into the room and there is a statue of a dwarf holding a shiny thing and looking at it greedily. Nyx (my sister) enters the room first, followed by Carl (my dad's character). Ian (my neighbor's character) wisely stays out in the hallway. Ian correctly chooses to not trust Nyx with anything. Nyx and Carl stand there for a bit, and my neighbor asks me a question at the same time as my sister says "I pick up the shiny thing and put it back really fast. Am I good?" I ask her to repeat, after which I say "NO, you are not good! That thing blows up in your face! What did you expect would happen?" Nyx and Carl are both down to 0 hp (they're both at level 4 or something) and Ian is debating helping them. He does help them, but was unable to save Nyx. I was nice and let her off with a missing arm.

Later, we're walking along, when we find a horse. Carl wants to keep the horse. The horse likes him. The horse is now named Carl Jr. Unfortunately, Carl Jr belongs to a farmer we end up rescuing from a bunch of orcs. That was fun. Ian backflipped through a window.

This party would be a a fun casual boardgame night. 

1. Wit/Hoid/etc. for obvious reasons. He would show up anyway so might as well make it official, but you need someone who tells a good story to keep conversation going. 

2. Adolin - An all around decent guy, good at strategy already, probably would be decent at most board games. 

3. Ham - It would be a lot of fun to watch him converse with these others in philosophy, and he's probably a guy who talk through his whole move before doing it. 

4. Rock - The stew, the brew, the infectious laugh.

5. Lopen - Who doesn't love a good one-armed herdazian joke!?

I read this and all I think is Adolin crushing everyone but Hoid at minute to win it challenges, but only because Hoid was cheating or some stuff.
