Also girls. They’re great. Specifically this one girl though. She’s amazing, and she’s great and adorable and— I should probably stop talking about this
Crazy wacky cosmere theories that are barely plausible

  1. I believe it’s preservation and ruin, and the mists don’t like the ruin part. And Glys is all three I think
  2. I got today's Cosmeredle in 22 tries! Try and beat me at https://cosmeredle.net/
  3. Pretty much yes. We know Allomancy is of preservation, Hemalurgy is of Ruin, and Feruchemy is both.(Allomancy is end positive, power is gained. Hemalurgy is end negative, power is lost. And feruchemy is end neutral, power is neither lost nor gained) Anyways, Hemalurgy is of Ruin, and that’s what the Mists are reacting too. Ruins influence through his art. Ruin is essentially, through Hemalurgy, corrupting(in the eyes of the original power) it.(think of it similarly to enlightened Spren on Roshar) when I use hemalurgy to steal pewter, I’m not using Preservations power to burn pewter, I’m using Ruins.
  4. Only other thing I can think of it being is the size of the Aon Rao But yeah, we don’t know what it is. Or how hard it’d be to do, and we haven’t got a lot about it so not too much point to theorize other than for fun. And in that case, the top of my head says that fullborn are the best option. Since the original prompt doesn’t say when we’d be dropped into the planet, as long as it’s before Rashek’s ascension, travel to the well, take a few bars of Lerasium, then find some full feruchemists and make some Fullborn. People having kids will naturally grow your army.
  5. Random thought I had while viewing a thread:

Characters who win fights through skill prey on their opponents ability to procrastinate.

If I can learn something, so can another. And so any tricks I might use to beat them they can learn as well. So the only reason I would beat them is because they either procrastinated their learning, or I was lucky.

Normally you see people go around this in one of two ways.

They go the route of repetition or training and dedication. Saying that their years of doing this one particular thing makes them better than anyone else at it.

Or they give the character a power outside the rules of the game(anti-magic in a magic-dominated world or something similar) and that just throws out the entire idea of skill beating power. You just gave them a different power than everyone else.

The first is really the only way to justify this except that if you can spend 60 years learning how to perfect swordplay, so can this other guy I met who also happens to be able to shoot lasers from his hands.

    I don’t think you’re winning that one.

Now, there is nuance. Not everyone can spend 60 years learning swordplay. For a variety of reasons(they have actual priorities, they have to work, they have other responsibilities, etc) all sorts of things.

But that lets me say the following:

If your opponent does not have a life, you will lose.

Anyways, thank you for seeing Myst’s random thought that he spent way too much time on

  6. The other route is to find out what’s limiting the amount of elantrians and try to expand that(it’s probably the amount of Dor in the cognitive realm around Arelon though, and there’s not too much you can do about that)
  7. I think I skipped that game, I don’t remember why though, I was free to play it, I wasn’t busy or anything. But idk, it was right after the Andor game, I think I might’ve missed the sign-ups? All I know is later wishing I’d signed up
  8. And the other two Highguards? It’s random between the kills you all submit Will admit, I really hope I get the Queen’s family role, because I really want to detain someone
  9. And the Highguards? Honestly just asking people to do it like Hoid did might’ve worked
  10. I mostly promise not to frame you again. Watch as this is just a re-run of last game for me. @Jo and the Bush if I’m the only Parliamentarian, and I die C1 again…
  11. How does MT decide what powers he has? Obviously if he’s prepared for the fight he’s going to have ones to counteract or mitigate his opponents abilities, but what does he have day-to-day?
  12. lol I’m gonna be a parliamentarian
  13. Archer’s trying to rig the roles lol
