    Hi!

Actually, this has been my PFP since the first gameplay trailer for the game came out, and I still haven't actually played it lol. I have it, so when I have the time I'm excited to jump into it. Oh man this is a tough one. Probably Aragorn but I kind of think that might only be due to Viggo Mortensen's performance. My favorite Lord of the Rings character is probably Glorfindel or Sauron though.

    Hi!

Now that I’ve finished AoL, I can confidently say that I’d be a Tineye/Sentry. EDIT: my confidence was a lie; I'm changing to Pewterarm/Sentry. I want my magical caffeine. And yes, I love Wayne too!
  3. iirc the reason Towerlight doesn’t last outside the tower is that humans and most gemstones are too porous to retain it. Theoretically this means Towerlight could be transported out of Urithiru in a perfect gemstone, although it doesn’t seem like the Radiants have access to any...
  4. Theoretically if she found any Warlight I assume she’d be able to use it to Elsecall back, but I’m not sure how readily accessible it would be for her. Is there a reason she couldn’t store Towerlight in a gemstone and take it with her if she were to Elsecall out of Urithiru?

    Hi!

Pepper’s good but where would we be without salt? Gotta go salt.

    Hi!

Dr. Pepper supremacy Favorite food is a tough choice... but I’m a big fan of Japanese curry. I also like sauerkraut with mashed potatoes!

    Hi!

Not sure, maybe my distaste for chocolate chip cookies? Dr. Pepper all day every day. Favorite cosmere quote is in my sig! Not sure about my favorite crackpot theory... But no, I don’t think the Arkenstone was a Silmaril. I don’t think it could have been handled as readily and directly by the dwarves if that were the case.
  8. Speaking of really scary combinations I always thought Odium and Ruin (“Destruction”?) would be pretty bad news as well; or, given Odium and Honor’s compatibility, Retribution and Ruin?
  9. Oh right I had forgotten about that. I wonder what happened to him...
  10. Ohh I see. Is the fourth Shard theory in direct conflict with/opposition to the fourth primeval spren theory? I like the idea of a Day or potentially Sea primeval spren, but I think there might be some issues with the idea of a Day spren. Namely, once the Stormfather dies, highstorms on Roshar stop happening. Being so related to Wind, if that’s what happens in the absence of the Stormfather, it would seem like if a straight-up primeval spren died (or whatever else might have happened to it), it would have a pretty noticeable effect on Roshar as well, right? There’s still a day/night cycle on Roshar, so it would seem to imply that, if there were a Day spren, it would still be alive/intact. I think a similar argument could also be made for a Sea spren, though we admittedly don’t seem to know much about Roshar’s oceans. I feel like there could plausibly be something really funky going on that would suggest something wrong with a potential Sea primeval spren if we knew about it. Also, I’m curious what the other “vanished” Shard is that Taravangian can’t immediately see... although maybe this will become obvious as I read more Cosmere books.
  11. To follow up on this, what are the four Rhythms of Roshar? And the fourth moon is related to Shard (which seems dubious, potentially?) what would the connection with Valor be? As far as I know it’s never appeared or had influence in the Rosharan system.

    Hi!

I think I definitely have to go with Fellowship. Tolkien’s works are what got me into fantasy many years ago.
  13. Oh shoot, where is that quote from? I always assumed Salas was associated with the Sibling, as a child of Honor and Cultivation. I started to have second guesses when the fourth moon was mentioned near the end of WaT, but I wasn’t sure exactly what to make of it. It also seems to somehow have been related to Odium’s perpendicularity (and now potentially Retribution’s).
  14. Wow thanks! Yes, please feel free to ask questions as I travel the Cosmere! I gather it’s somewhat unorthodox to start with SA, but I had a lot of fun with it and it’s motivated me to keep going. (If you’re curious, my Cosmere reading plan is on my profile.) Unfortunately, as I made my way through (particularly from OB on), I used the Time Machine on the Coppermind to search up things I had questions about. While this prevented me from getting spoiled on future SA material, it ended up spoiling quite a few things about MB era 1 (particularly Sazed’s Ascension to Harmony and Kelsier’s alleged death—though he’s mentioned as if he’s still alive in SA). I assume this also probably spoiled me on some things regarding Elantris/HoE/ES, but I’m not sure (I’m pretty sure both Shards on that world have been Splintered and the Vessels killed). Makes sense that Retribution doesn’t have a full claim on the spren, now that I think about it. The Wind Connection also makes sense. I guess maybe it also helps if the part of Honor that fled (Splintered?) when the rest of the power was subsumed into Retribution can be leveraged by the Heralds somehow to protect the spren. I wonder if this means it would be possible for someone else to Ascend to Honor, even though Taravangian took most of it?

    Hi!

Oh boy, I’m not sure. I’m not too familiar with all of the different Disney franchises, but I think I’d have to choose Cassian Andor. He’s just cool. Yes! I think they make for cool villains. Of course! Though, when it comes to Twinborn, I’ve only read the first part of MFE so far, so that remains to be seen... If I could choose to be a Misting, I’d pick lurcher.

    Hi!

Gotta get the extra ice-breaking qualities of those two for Jasnah's iciness hahaha
  17. ign__o

    Hi!

Hmmm... It’s a tough choice, but I think I’d have to go with Hoid, Jasnah, Kelsier, Breeze, Lopen, and Adolin. I’d want to pick Jasnah’s brain, for sure—and Wit and Breeze to break the ice. Lopen, Adolin, and Kelsier just seem like a lot of fun and easy people to hang out with!
  18. How exactly does the reforged Oathpact protect the spren, and why do the Heralds still need to go to Braize in order to achieve this? I know they’re not mentally on Braize (presumably it’s somewhere on pre-cataclysm Ashyn, according to Kalak), but it seems this is just a workaround and their spirits still have to go to Braize to protect them. Why? On a separate note, do we know/think we know what happened to the Nightwatcher? Presumably she either left Roshar with Cultivation or got obliterated by Retribution (unless she was somehow able to hide)?

    Hi!

Hi, I’m Igno. I recently finished reading WaT and I’m excited to get into other cosmere books! I’m currently planning to start Mistborn next. Outside the cosmere, I’m also a big fan of LotR, Stranger Things, Mario, and Metroid.
