Yes, I like wayne (and his hats). Yes, I like dragons (Huzzah for frost) As for magic systems, within the cosmere it has gotta be Allomancy and Hemalurgy. As for just in general, for all fiction... I mean i dont think you can beat BS's skill in this, so still Allomancy and Hemalurgy. They taste like chicken when sauteed >:)

Thank you! I didn't realise it tied into Leras's plan like that.
-
Thank! I'll take that into account.
-
Thank you, that cleared it up for me. Can you, however, season and cook the liquid investiture, adding meat, vegetables, and noodles? I legitmately want to know the culinary aspects of the liquid Investiture of Preservation.
-
Yes, absolutely. I know of the Shattering of Adonalsium, and I also did some research on it later on as well. I have read all mistborn books, Era 1 and 2, Secret history, and also am knowledgable about the larger events and concepts in the cosmere (e.g. Realmatic theory, events to do with Shards, and Hoid). A lot of lore is in fact revealed from WoB, so I didn;t need to read all the books to do so, but I want to. Trying to purchase Arcanum Unbounde currently.

You're observant! Respect man. I'll try to be there when the US has woken up, but I might be asleep at that time.

Marsh circumventing identity contamination
Denissimo replied to TacoBellChoutaMeal's topic in Mistborn
Yes, thank you. -
YES, I do want to read the rest of the cosmere (though stil working out where to go from here) Favorite Mistborn character is probably either Marsh or Hoid.
-
Thanks for the clarification.

No questions here. Just think is funny how TenSoon got the short end of the stick atfer the Catacendre. In the words of founding, all the other people mentioned get revered and basically worshipped. Spook: Becomes an emperor, and the legendary Lord Mistborn Marsh: PERSONIFICATION OF DEATH Kelsier: Central figure of Survivorism, known as the SOvereign, and is somehow still alive thanks to hemalurgy Sazed: worshipped as a god Vin: She was a religious figure even before the Catacendre, and is now revered, known as the Ascendant Warrior Elend: THe last emperor TENSOON GETS SOONIE PUPS, A TYPE OF COMMERCIAL MERCHANDICE!! No wonder he is so salty.

Marsh circumventing identity contamination
Denissimo replied to TacoBellChoutaMeal's topic in Mistborn
I think Marsh CLAIMS that he just uses emotional allomancy, but Wax thinks it's somehting else. You may very well be right. It hasn't been revealed as of Era 2 and 1, but probably going to have some light shed on it by Era 3. So, unfortunatly, you may have to wait 'til 2028. -
Does a Steelferuchemist experience time dilation.
Denissimo replied to ruler of the mists's topic in Mistborn
Yes, I suspect it would be awkward if a Feruchemist randomly became a vegetable (e.g. brain dead) while fueling one of his metalminds. -
What about if Rashek had had Cadmium and Bendalloy when he fought Vin? Would it have provided a supreme advantage? Could he have survived?

Hello. Misborn Era 1 + 2 Fanatic, fascinated with the lore, enjoys making theories that make the professionals want to curl up into a ball and cry >:) Currently praying for spook showing up in Era 3 Semi-proficient in realmatic theory. I read too quickly while somehow retaining information. I just realised this is beginning to look like a Resume, so I'm going to break the ice a bit. Yodel-Ay-EEE-HooOOOo! YODEL-ay-heee–YODEL-ay-heee–HOOO! Ho-de-lay-dee-ay–HAA! YODEL-odle-AY–ee–ODEL-ohhhh–WAAAHHH! Yo-del–ay–ee–yo–doooodle–ay–EEEE! YAAAHH-de-lay-de-lay-DEEE! HOOOO! Woodle-oodle-AAAAY–Yip-yip–HOOOO!

Does a Steelferuchemist experience time dilation.
Denissimo replied to ruler of the mists's topic in Mistborn
I stand corrected! Is there a limit to how many physical attributes you can store at once (ignoring Metalmind capacity, focusing on effects on your body), and are there any adverse effects? -
OOOOOO WAIT it could be kinda like a colour wheel THouugh idk what the opposites of the other intents might be. SO it would be like a Hexadekeract. Hot darn, that looks like a physical representation of epilepsy.

Though they would STILL have to store all their mass into their metalmind in order to achieve weightlessness which would ultimately kill them. -
I kinda imagined it as like a star.... with 16 axes. Probably a mathematical abomination, and i have NO idea how you are going to fit a grid in there, but thats the best thing I could come up with
-
I suppose, though I would say instead of a hypercube it would just involve 16 axes (which I suppose can be interpreted as dimensions, but I prsonally would not choose to do so as that is an absolute head-banger to try to work out_ Wait, when Sazed tok the shards ruin and preservation, does harmony count as a single shard with conflicting intents, or as 2 shards with conflicitng inteents.

Denissimo replied to ruler of the mists's topic in Mistborn
No. Light speed is not achievable for non-shards, i dont think. THough feruchemy allows for storing of weight (and becoming lighter in the process), YOU CANT STARE ALL YOUR WEIGHT: This is becuase anything you store in feruchemy is reflected in your present physical state while you are storing/tappng it. e.g.when you use feruchemy to beome stronger, your muscles PHYSICALY swell up and you become legitimately buff. So, to store enough weight to become wightless... is to essentially disappear. ALll your matter would have to be gone. -
I am aware that not a lot is known of Harmonium, apart from: - Alloying lerasium and atium can't make it - reacts a LOT - You can react other things with it to GET lerasium and atium. But I have a few theories on it's nature. WARNING: SCIENCE STUFF BELOW, YOU DON'T HAVE TO READ IF YOU DONT WANT TO In beta radiation in atoms, a neutron (with a relative charge of 0) transforms into 2 different particles of opposite charge: usually a Proton (+1) and an electron (-1) or positron (-1) This makes sense, as combined the charge is still 0, which matches the charge of a neutron. MY theory is that Harmonium works kind of like that; It ISNT Preservation+Ruin, not EXACTLY, as when they combined it just makes something new; harmonium, kind of like how real compounds work: carbon + oxygen makes Carbon dioxide, which is a gas nearly completely different from it's initial components. But (accroding to coppermind), Harmony is still a fusion of preservation and ruin, which have 2 different INTENTS. So I think that it's physical form is, similar to real life compounds, very much different from Lerasium and Atium, though it can be seperated to form the 2 God metals the same way beta radiation (mentioned above) works. It's conflicting intent contributes to it's reactivity (confirmed by coppermind). I think when Harmonium touches pretty much anything, it's intent is in conflict as to how to interact with it, causing a reaction. As for what happens when you burn it, I have 2 theoris: FIRST: You'd have to do it very quickly, or else I feel like it'll combust in your stomach or something due to how reactive it is. SECOND: I think that it's conflicting intents will force it to choose a side; or else when you try to access it's power, due to the conflicting intents, the powers would cancel. So to be honest, I feel like it might actually be pretty useless when you burn it. Maybe it automatically connects you to harmony or something. Please give me your thoughts.

How did Kelsier make the bands of mourning without allomancy?
Denissimo replied to king of nowhere's topic in Mistborn
I STAND CORRECTED: So the bands DEFINITELY contain Nicrosil, or at least probably. Some way or another. -
SAME. I spent the entire flippin series expecting for him to come back to life somehow, and only discovered what he had been DOING this entire time in the secret history.

So, during Era 2, Cadmium Mistings (Pulsers) are indeed a thing. They are also seen to be able slow down time, in a small bubble around them; Do they age slower when they do so? Furthermore, Era 2 Pulsers have diluted powers; what if an era 1 misting/mistborn (e.g. Kelsier, Vin) had burned cadmium? Even in Era 2, Pulsers and Sliders seem very powerful, so in Era 1, what would the effects be like? WHAT IF THE LORD RULER HAD CADMIUM AND/OR BENDALLOY?

I legitmately fell out of my chair laughing when I imagined someone just using a SPOON to scoop out liquid Lerasium, or whatever the Investiture manifested as in the well of ascension. Like using a literal ladle to scoop it into a bowl and like adding noodles or something. In fact, heres a question; what would have happened if Vin DRANK the liquid in the well? (Preferably containing some ramen, eggs, and seasoning).
