Worldbuilder’s Guild
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to Hyper129's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
Like the real Europa - heated by the gas giant's tidal forces so it has a subsurface ocean. Due to the eccentricity, it will at time venture into the star's habitable zone, which will cause the surface to thaw as well before freezing again once leaving the habitable zone. The subsurface ocean stays year-round though. So life could emerge in the oceans. There is no land, so this'll be purely aquatic. Unless, of course, technology allows a civilisation to drill to the surface, but when the surface melts and re-freezes they'll have to do it again. -
Couldn't think of anything else to put there and well, Whimsy is super unpredictable. Going into this I was honestly worried about Ruin.

Worldbuilder’s Guild
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to Hyper129's topic in Social Groups, Clans, & Guilds
I'm currently outlining a book set ~2050 where people have colonised the moon. There are like 5 main nations on the moon all trying to conquer the others. Because Earth was busy dealing with a climate catastrophe, they had no time to worry about the moon and left them to their own devices. I also got an idea for a Spec Evo world... a Gas Giant with an eccentric orbit and a Europa-like moon... -
The Longest Thread (Misadventures)

Hey! That's exactly what I was doing in the Secret Wars Ultimate Crossover RP My character in Secret Wars was Sandy from BftS too, so... 18142 used a sophon to talk to Sandy. Within moments, Sandy quantum tunnelled beside him. Sophons are sentient protons by the way. It's using quantum entanglement to allow for FTL communication.- 111830 replies

Worldbuilder’s Guild

Spec Evo is by far the most superior aspect of worldbuilding. -
I don't know, maybe like 3 or 4 They're Unmade level, so that should be enough.

Well, I'm going to say that the black hole's sentience can be killed with enough anti-Investiture, but it must be anti-Virtuosity's Investiture.

The Battle for the Sandwich
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
I square-root anti-Investiture, creating Imaginary Investiture that is immune to Chiri-chiri. I then alloy it with normal Investiture to create Complex Investiture, and Sandy uses it to duralumin-ironpull on the Sandwich's trace metals. I accept.- 13683 replies

The Battle for the Sandwich
KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren replied to AltonicKeys's topic in Forum Games & Random Stuff
Oh ok. Sandy uses Mathslight to fuel the Surge of Entropification, turning the ground beneath you into a swarm of incoherent particles. The resulting explosion lets him take the sandwich.- 13683 replies

No, Nightblood does eat some of the Investiture. And if it's anti-Investiture, there will be an explosion.

I don't think so. Nightblood would either explode or cause an explosion.

Wait who took 'em?- 13683 replies

Yeah it was that one. The Investiture is trapped, but not in the singularity. So it doesn't become charge-less. It's still positive Investiture, and you can give it anti-Investiture to make it un-Invested. Of course, the anti-Investiture Investiture reaction will give the black hole more energy, but it'll just be an ordinary black hole floating in space then. Also, @Born of Mist is joining. @IcedOutPenguin, are you fine with giving up Preservation?
