Named absorbed blue light, allowing it to infuse his bones with colour. He began to draft blue luxin, covering his bones in it. Blue luxin was hard, but not tough. Named would've preferred green, but he would use what he could.
He tapped Investiture to speed up the process, until he'd grown himself a body of blue luxin, the stuff covering everything except his empty eye sockets. Drafting blue, like all luxin, had an effect on his emotions. Blue brought a sense of clarity and made him more rational, enough that his face expression would've been completely blank had he still had face muscles.
A blue spear materialised in Named's dimly glowing hands. Eye sockets staring straight ahead, he tapped pewter and steel, before hurling the spear at Rebus, far faster than any human should've been able to.
"Test 1," he mumbled behind his luxin mask.
