    Flower hugs Freedom close and whispers into their ear “oh I wish that was the way it worked Freedom oh how I wish that was what happened but I promise you there is a way to make this pain end but it is not destroying yourself over and over again. I do not know the way to fix it, but maybe, together if we help these people on their quest then maybe what remains of the gods who did this to us will let us sleep” flower stands up and offers a hand to Freedom.

    Just finished my race I don’t know what place I got yet bc not everyone is done racing (it’s a time trial for those who know what that is) but I got a time of 17:39 which is pretty good so I’m happy with it

    Flower looks down at Freedom and walks down into the crater and stops right by him “I’m sorry my friend”she says her eyes look iridescent from the right angles here “I know too what it is like to be robbed of the ability to sleep. It drives your mind to the brink and then right as you step over you start again. And again. And again. Forever until nothing remains of your mind other than the euphoric feeling of when you get so close to sleep but it’s robbed of you” she sits now and pulls a chocolate out of her pocket and offers it to freedom “why do you continue to die? I learned long ago that attempts at death are futile and just break your mind further. So why do you continue to die as surely you know this as well.”

    Flower noticed the constant shifting of the life force and it broke her meditation. Her thoughts raced about what to do for how dare the world take from what this person the same thing it took from her. The ability to sleep. And not wake up. Flower stood and picked the direction that the distortion of life was coming from and walked. She had never walked faster than she did now.

    Flower looks up and her eyes briefly flash a red color almost in warning. She looks away and stands up and walks away a few feet and sits on the ground and stares.

    “Oh yes hello again I’ve seen you before” flower turns to Andry “do you have more chocolates?”

    Flower thinks for a second stands up and as she does there’s a brief almost non noticeable flash of energy as all the dirt on her seems to just melt off. She looks at Andry and says “that sounds quite pleasant shall we walk now” she entirely ignores the last question and makes it clear she is not open to further inquiry for now.

    Flower takes the chocolate “Hello Andry. I am not a flower but someone I knew long ago gave me one and it has remained what I have been called since they went to sleep. Where are you going?”

    Flower turns around and smiles “ I am flower It’s been a long time since I’ve had a chocolate.” They pause and stares at you then sits down “yes I think I would like a chocolate. Who are you?”

    Flower appears with the blur still surrounding her but she just steps through it and looks around when she finally stops looks ing around she walks straight forward in a perfect line.

    The person stops staring and starts speaking. It appears they are speaking to the blur. They speak in a heavily accented voice “well hello ther ma names flower what about you little buddy?”
