Yay! AYTA is indeed one of the best, and I'm glad you liked them enough to put some on your playlists!

Cool. On the heavier side, there's the aptly-named Heavy, as well as Why, Pt. 2 (don't ask about part 1. I don't know what happened to it either. ) Precious Declaration is one of my personal favorites. On the grungier side, there's She Gathers Rain and Untitled Track. Kinda in-between (rock-y, but not too heavy) is Shine, easily their most famous. Listen is a good one. There's also Him, AYTA, Hurricane, and December. For some more mellow choices, we have Maybe, Compliment (live version's the best -- they performed with a full orchestra a few years back, and it's glorious), She Said, Needs, and The World I Know. Hope I haven't gone too overboard. Let me know what you think! And no pressure to listen to every single one if you don't want to.

Sure! ...actually, trying to narrow this down is a lot harder than I thought. May I ask, would you be more interested in "heavy" or mellow songs, or a little of both?

Collective Soul! They've been one of my favorites since I was born, pretty much. They've been going for a little over 20 years and this'll be their tenth album (or more, depending on how you count).

'Twas! The stops aren't often pulled like that, but this was a particularly large reunion. The smaller, more "local" reunions are pretty tame -- just hanging out at a place usually.

Pretty stoked to go to see Music and the Spoken Word live tomorrow at the Conference Center in SLC! It's part of a family reunion that's been going on all weekend, which has been pretty cool.

New music from my favorite band! Their new album (still ) isn't out yet, but they're streaming five songs from it over the weekend. Pretty excited for the album, whenever it comes out!

Pervigilium. Obviously it's Latin, but I was trying to find something a bit more in-depth (most places didn't even acknowledge its Latin-ness, let alone give a comprehensive origin). ETA: I found one for what I appears to be the Latin root, but I'm still not sure if it's what I was looking for exactly.

Trying to look up the origins of a super obscure word IS A PAIN. The few places with definitions don't include word origin.

I have yet to see my schedule for next week. I'll keep y'all posted. ETA: I believe I'm free most evenings. Saturday is still unknown. There's a couple other things in flux that might interfere, but I don't know yet.

Yup! It's needing a clean and some minor repair, but it's in decent condition otherwise. Awesome!
