    Ohhhhh yeah sorry, I just re-worked it so that it is the corrupters (new magic system) are different from the shifters (old magic system). They do use mostly the same powers. Corrupters just have less restrictions.

    It isn't the only source. I just thought it would be cool for the Narrators cores to be the Fragment of the Gem bc that would create tension. Also, you haven't explained the other 3 magic systems. (Except Withergiests. Was that one of them?)
