Just like how BCFH could represent the idea of number 2386 just as well to people who understand it as the symbols we call numbers representing 2368. Like how it could also be expressed with MMCCCLXVIII or a variety of other symbols that could be created. !@#$%^&*() is just another alternative number set to 1234567890 just like ABCDEFGHIZ (Z representing 0) or I,II,III,IV,V,VI,VII,VIII,IX,X (there is no 0 in roman numberals) could represent the numbers.
