I don’t think I have a specific but I know some of the listener storylines didn’t interest me… the concept of the listeners fascinate me but I was not drawn in. I am also not a huge Shallan fan, but I can relate to her. It’s her personality (personalities?) that I don’t particularly care for. I don’t think I’d get on with her! I may or may not identify as bagel.

I can definitely see this happening. It’s happened on other worlds after all…

Cryptics. They’re hilarious and endlessly fascinating to me. Mmmmmmmm I haven’t read the series in a while so it’s a bit hazy but I want to say Feruchemy. The ability to store certain attributes and use them at will is so useful. I wouldn’t mind having Allomancy but the concept of burning metals has always felt so weird to me. And Hemalurgy straight up terrifies me Order of Lightweavers.

I wonder how much of that is down to the technological advances in Nomad’s time? I haven’t finished reading yet but it seems the cosmere is far more advanced from some of the things he says. There’s probably a lot more we have no idea about at this point. I held off reading Sunlit Man for a while because I had found out who Nomad really was and was wondering ‘what the hell happened there’ but WaT provided some of that info for me. I think you’re right - Sunlit Man is going to make far more sense after the entire series ends, I reckon.

Perhaps I need a bright green chicken profile picture… I’ve read most of the main ones I think, Mistborn, Wax & Wayne, Stormlight Archives, Warbreaker, Elantris, Tress of the Emerald Sea and I’m currently reading Sunlit Man. Outside the cosmere I’ve read the Skyward series. After Sunlit Man I think I’m going through Mistborn and Wax & Wayne again, I’m due a re read. I need to pick up some of the novellas out there and the secret project books I haven’t gotten round to yet. I don’t have a lot of ‘cosmere’ knowledge (ie about Shards and things like that) so I’m going to try and brush up on that.

I didn’t know what to put for the title hi everyone, I’m Aela Nox, 30 years old from the UK. Huge fan of Brando Sando and so on, got done reading WaT a few days back and I was itching to read some discussion and remembered there was a forum so here I am. This takes me back.. I loved browsing forums for various interests back in the day. Some things about me: - It took longer than it should to decide on a profile picture and cover photo and I got them mixed up at first. - My favourite characters are probably Dalinar, Adolin and Pattern. - If I was a radiant I’d probably be a Lightweaver in all honesty.
