    Faunus started pacing back and forth as he spoke, brow furrowed in thought, before she paused, green eyes snapping up to meet Kion’s, “Sequence let the Render out, it promised to behave, so she let it go. It didn’t get out.” Leaning against the wall, she sighed. “Kion, Narration is very different from your magic, so you really don’t know if we can kill it or not. But I don’t think I should try-“ she then paused, tilting her head to the side, as if listening. Then her eyes went wide with surprise. “We’ve got a destination.” Faunus said, hurrying over to a window to look out. She looked over at Kion, green eyes ablaze with determination, “We’ll continue what we started, but don’t ever take advantage of me again. Nor expect my trust to come so easily anymore. We’re going to Ragnarok” Faunus realized she really should address this issue, the train was her creation after all. She dispelled it, the train the Render was riding, the parts it had made as part of its body, the track it used as well. Dumping the Render in the middle of nowhere.

    Hehe, I never turn down the change for conflict. Faunus visibility flinched at the loudness of his voice, wrapping her arms around herself, and for a moment, seemed to be about to shrink back, until she set her jaw, chin lifting in defiance. Those green eyes of hers met Kion’s, determination bright in them as she stood her ground. Fed up with all this nonsense, she had opened her mouth to fight back, but then paused, hearing his voice break. Faunus’ gaze softened slightly, although she still felt taken advantage of, and might have even sat back down, if Kion hadn’t made the mistake of making it sound like she couldn’t fight his Render. That made her bristle all over again, and she scowled at him. “Your Render couldn’t hurt me if it tried.” Faunus muttered, folding her arms across her chest, as she glared at Kion. How dare he assume she too fragile to take along? “I’m not going anywhere.” She snapped, “This is my train, you can take your leave, if you want.”

    Faunus had merely given him back his outfit and supplies he had before using the stupid spell. But if he was going to abuse her abilities instead- Faunus narrowed her green eyes at Kion, folding her arms across her chest. Whatever friendliness or kindness was gone from her, mouth downturned in a frown. “You complain about what we Narrators can do, then use me?” She stood from her seat across from him, bristling, her mere narrowed eyes turning into a glare. Although the hurt from the breach of trust was clear in her pained expression.

    Faunus managed a small smile back, her freckled cheeks still red with the embarrassed blush. “We’ll probably end up where other characters are in need. So we’ll have to wait and see what happens.” Faunus raised that unimpressed brow at Rebus mentally, still preferring magic alone to magic and technology.

    “I’m still learning.” She said softly, sitting down and buried her reddening face in her hands. In control again, Faunus had her outfit change back to the simple white blouse and green pants. Sighing softly, she managed a weak smile, as she ran a hand through her long strawberry blonde hair. “I do care, right now. Maybe that will eventually change. But I can still feel stupid, even as a Narrator.” Yeah? Well Faunus countered that with dragon, elves, dwarves and other cool stuff. Epic sword fights, armies riding to battle, Lord of the Rings. Those are cool things to base one’s personality off of. Not that Faunus or her Author have done that.

    You’re not supposed to, it was your authors expression my author greatly enjoyed.

    A copy of Faunus appeared suddenly, and sighed softly, looking at Subversion adoringly, or at least the hands behind Subversion. “Such a masculine way to handle that. But if you’re just going to complain to your author, it might be better if I ask my author to do it. I’m sure that’ll make better headway.” With a quick grin, she disappeared.

    (I can’t smell anyway) Granted, but you are unfortunately too full to eat the burger. I wish for some goldfish crackers.

    Granted, you can only play guitar good when you’re mad. I wish for the ability to draw people.

    Faunus raised that eyebrow of hers, unimpressed at the display. “Now, see here, just because I dressed up for dancing, doesn’t mean I desire to be princessed- I thinking more along the lines of Lone Ranger, you know, cloaks and leather armor, none of this lady nonsense.” As she spoke, her outfit changed once more, all while she was boarding the train with Kion. Her white blouse was replaced by a long sleeved green tunic, a leather chest piece and belt sprouting around it, a grey cloak wrapped around her shoulders, buttoning with a pendant around her collar, she wore a sword on her hip, and sturdy leather boots on her feet. Upon noticing the change, Faunus felt her cheeks go red with embarrassment, as she smacked her forehead. “I’ve got to stop doing that.” Faunus ignored Rebus’ grumbling, she simply didn’t care. Swords are cool, and so are horses. And that was that.

    Faunus’ mouth curled up in a smirk, until she bubbled over laughing. “It really was ridiculous, personally, I like the Middle Ages fantasy aesthetic better.” She beamed a smile Kion, a good laugh always made everything better. good night!

    “Well, I’m sure you can trust me with all your outfit changes.” Faunus said, with an innocent grin, that twinkle in her green eyes. “I promise nothing too ridiculous.” She leaned back in her seat, folding her arms behind her head.

    “Sure, you can have it.” With that, Faunus boarded the train behind Kion, seeming a little ruffled. “I can tell, because it wasn’t my Narration, or at least I assumed it was another Narrator.” She waved a dismissive hand, “It’s no trouble, I figured it’d be easier than you doing, considering that would bring the Render on you.”

    That questioning eyebrow of hers rose slightly at the mention of the engine, “And you did what to it? The engine, my train, that is.” Faunus did not seem pleased in the least, at this arrival. As Kion patted for his knife, he would find it where it should have been, his attire having changed back to that of which he normally wore. Nodding briefly to herself, Faunus turned, as another train pulled up, the number being the same as their tickets. They’d board that one instead.

    Narrowing her green eyes at the fake conductor, which was evident by his out of style uniform, “Wonderful, we’ve got another tag-along. What do you think, Kion, you willing to put up with another Narrator?” Folding her arms across her chest, Faunus took up a more hostile posture, hand going to the belt that sprouted around her waist, and the knife that was attached to it.

    Faunus frowned, no, she hadn’t made the station this big- she redoubled her Narration on the train station, making it smaller again, only a few trains lined up, one boarding ahead. She pulled the tickets out of her pocket, with the destination he had asked for, moving to give them to the conductor.

    A smile curled Faunus’ lips, as the train suddenly started to slow, and then came to a stop. She stood smoothly, that twinkle once more in her lovely green eyes. “Let’s go then.” Exiting the train, she moved to board the other one, searching in her pocket for the tickets.

    Faunus stared at him for a moment, and then the corner of her mouth curled up in the smallest smirk. “Aren’t I harboring you? Last I checked, I wasn’t in a crisis.” Her smile faltered, “Anyway, I mean, does it matter that Narrators exist, can do more than you without consequence? You’ve heard first hand, we don’t care. So why shouldn’t you care anymore?”

    Granted, you only slow it down for yourself, in a small bubble, the rest of the world goes on normal speed. I wish for the ability to fly.

    “And why does that need to change? It’s a good life to live, sounds dangerous, and rough, but it could be fulfilling.” Faunus asked softly, tilting her head to the side slightly, trying to figure him out. “Why does it need to change?”

    She nodded, a purpose would be nice to have, indeed. “A new purpose? So what was it before, then?” Faunus asked, her own gaze drifting aside to watch out the window.

    The landscape continued to fly by, the train moving fairly fast, after a few minutes, with another sigh, Faunus moved to sit back down across from Kion, a small, reassuring smile on her lips. That mischievous twinkle in her green eyes had long died, as she searched his expression, trying to judge if another conversation was good or not.

    Faunus definitely agreed with Hacob, which was impossible within itself. There is no such thing as a healthy friendship, with kissing. Call her old fashioned.

    But it’s like- really creepy- that’s HIS DAUGHTERS BODY, and he’s putting HIS WIFE in it. Because I’m assuming he wants his wife alive. Must I say it more directly-
