    So the kid is someone who im protecting. The characters dont know why becuase we haven’t actually gotten a proper introductions or anything. But unless you already had some form of story for her thats what i got. Oh ok

    As Asher was backing up she accidentally stepped on a twig. Which due to how twigs work. Snapped. Asher paused hoping no one had heard it due to there conversation. after a second she continued crouching down next to the kid.

    Halcyon girl. Whats your characters name? Asher thinks this could be a good time to get away. Just get the kid and slip away no one notices and we can finish the mission she thinks. Asher slowly backs moving to the tree the kid is curled up next to.

    Alrighty!. Asher looks to shoe and the person behind him. Ps her brain is like really really fast so this takes place in like 20 seconds or less. If thats ok. Asher wasn’t sure if she should talk to the girl or save shoe. The girl can wait she thought. This guy is in more imminent danger than the other person. She seemed to be in either a coma or meditative state. So that isn’t as dangerous as shoes situation asher put her hand out and fire flew at the figure as she ran to try to stop whatever was happening.

    Btw i dont know how many people actually know what a saxe knife is but it is longer than the throwing knife, with a grip made of a series of leather discs set one above the other and a short brass crosspiece. The blade is long and straight, around 20 inches, making it nearly the size of a short sword. It is kept razor sharp on one side while the other end is thick and heavy… and my other one is just a normal throwing knife. Asher looks at the person in shoes shadow. She stood on guard but just observing. For now.

    “If they wont die to fire. Then how in the stars will we kill them” Asher sends a flash of fire warding some spirits back. She seemed dedicated to protecting the small child (who was now sitting curled against a tree. And seemed to be crying) The child thing is still happening right? I know you said the scream was a child Asher cuts down 2 of the spirits. P.s. Ashers knives have been crafted to be able to kill anything and everything. Maybe i got lost. Does light hurt them?

    She walked over to them holding the kid. The small child was clinging to her like i was her only hope. She glances at Salem. ”is she gonna be alright?” She didnt sound to concerned about the spirits trying to surround her. She had a glow about her that kept the spirits at bay.
