    I’ll give Asher something to be doing while im gone. Asher went to see if anyone of the two were hurt. Beostas sorry foot had gotten burnt. Ashers medical reflexes kicked in. They quickly took survey of the burn. Wasn’t too bad, gonna be hard to walk on later. Not gonna be to hard to heal, hopefully. Asher held their hand over her foot. It started glowing a blue-gold is that a color?

    Waittt! Noooooo/. Timing . I have to get ready to go to church. Then go to church. I wont be back till like. 315 ish. Becuase we have to drop someone off somewhere after church but yeah… Asher heard before they saw. They grabbed the two uncontious people and dashed under some cover. They pushed the uncontious people fist. Luckily due to their fire powers Asher didnt get hurt by the fire but it did burn one of their boots. “Oh come on i just got that boot.”

    … one sec… ok fixed. Shhhhh we don’t talk about that ok… that didnt happen. And they can. It’s just very dulled due to stuff.

    Asher nodded. they didnt seem to have any wounds that was good. At least. And the other one. Didn’t either. Granted Asher was sure that they saw the others knock him out so they were probably bad.

    They are just gonna see if there are any wounds. Because Asher doesn’t really know about anything that was happening. When they went dark their mind was like blank. So yeah asher crouched down next to beosta. They recognized this one. She had been there in the basement and mansion. Focus Asher. any wounds?

    Asher nodded then watched him sneak off. Then looked at the people they were now protecting. I will not fail. These people will stay alive… if they are still alive. Asher decided to see if there was anything they could do to help out the unconscious people.

    It is magic. It wont burn him. “Don’t worry. It wont hurt. And it will stay lit unless i put it out or… pass out or die.” Asher said “and if you wanna like shoot some fire just.. er think of it? I guess. And it will penetrate any darkness you encounter. And just let the weapon do the work. You’ll see when you swing it” Asher said trying to be helpful

    Asher nodded “eventually we’ll find out.” Asher paused. Then held out their hand. Fire still illuminating their faces. “Take the fire. Just in case… ya know .. it could be helpful”

    Asher tilted their head confused “really? It doesn’t seem like that to me. I know sure as Odin that i wouldn’t leave someone i hat—“ Asher got cut off “What the-?” Asher held their hand up and lit their fire in it. “Ya know when I first got magic fire i didnt think it would be useful but it kinda is.” Asher said absently. “Anyways. I was not necessarily … knowing of what was happening while i was..” Asher hesitated “fighting. .. .. so what is happening with this darkness stuff?”

    Asher sighed. How should they help. All of this came so easy to them. So how do you describe it to someone who is scared to hold an axe. Maybe another weapon? I mean battle axes are for more tank like people. And Bat wasn’t really that type. “Maybe—. No I couldn’t” Asher started but changed their mind. “These are your friends not mine. So you choose in what way to help. If you want you can fight. Or stay here. You can tell me what you want me to do. To stay here and help you guard. Heal wounds? It’s up to you”

    Face palm right. Noted. “Uh. Well it’s easy. For the most part.” Asher pulls out their saxe knife. “Just like. Swipe.” Asher swipes through the air a few times “and pray it hits something. That’s mostly it. The basics.” Asher put the knife away “and uh. I dunno if it happens to anyone else but one i start fighting the weapon sorta just leads itself. But i dunno how accurate that info is. But i think you got the skill to do something.” Asher was clearly not good at trying to give help.

    Asher looked from the Bay to the fight. “Ya know. Im not sure how much worse this can get. Do you know how to fight? Or at least swing stuff around?”

    Asher saw the confusion. “If you want. You can go help your friends. I’ll watch over these guys” Asher hoped that they trusted them. Even though they probably didnt. Worth a shot anyways.

    Ohp... erm I didn't know that... sorry. Gosh I feel bad now. Apologies Asher flinched a bit at the pat and followed Shoe back to the others. for the grace of Shai please say they didn't see what i was doing. Or saying. Or anything asher thought as they stopped infront of the others.

    does Shoe not like... talking Asher hesitated to grab Shoes hand at first but accepted the help. They finally noticed their mask was down. And very quickly put it back up. its sort of like a neckgator if you know what that is "uhm. Thanks." Asher said not knowing what to do. They messed up. Bad this time. at least only guards died.. right?. hopefully. Asher looked down a bit. Ashamed that they lost control.

    Asher looked up at Shoe. They saw the warriness. And couldn't blame em. They sheathed their saxe knife. "I-" they hesitated. How do they explain.. this. What do they do? Sure as heck not what they did last time. "I... don't know how to explain..." they motioned to the dead guards and smoke "er.. this.. at least in a way that would make sense."

    nice job. That's the best! You do great improv. Asher lay down on the ground. Not moving for a solid minute. The. They groaned. The black smoke faded from around them and their normal glow returned. Asher rolled over putting one arm on the ground holding them off it but not standing up yet. "What in valhalla? Where am i--" Asher looked up at the chaos. People fighting. Muffins lay everywhere. The dead guards with that haunting black smoke leaking from the wounds. I lost control. I did it again. I swore to myself i wouldnt yet here we are. Asher stood up and leaned against the wall. Holding their head. "Not again. No not again!" Their eyes had returned to their normal I don't remember their eye color. "Why" Asher asked themself. In (the first time at all any emotion was in their voice at all) a guilt filled tone. this makes me happy that you actually played along thank you for accepting my weirdness! Whats sleep????? Lol anyways good night! Sleep tight!!! And dream of happy thing tonight!

    the small voice spoke again. Almost pleading snap. them. Out. Please. P.le.ase. Asher looked shoe up and down. "Huh. Scared of smoke. It's just smoke. I think. Maybe. I don't know exactly." Asher took a few steps forward and raised their blade. Staring into it. "Blood. And smoke. Polluting the black surface. People have a tendency not to answer when scared. They say fear is the best motivated. But in reality. People talk less when scared. Fear sews their mouth shut." The small voice spoke a third time any way. Some how. They can help you. But you need to help them first. And fast.

How does one get that name. Er well besides the point..." Asher took another step forward. The black smoke started to twist around shoes legs. Not doing anything yet. "You seem like you know how to fight. It's been years since I fought a real fight. Most people you kill can't fight well. It's quite annoying." Ashers voice was still empty. a small voice whispered near shoe. Snap. Them. out. "what is the point of your efforts here? Hum? Trying to help. I did that once and here we are."

For they will feel guilt. The pain. The screams." Asher continued forward. They seemed dead. As if a walking corpse. Head tilted to the side. Arms hanging down. "Shoe, is it? You and asher never got proper introductions. Just jumped into everything. Head first." Asher stopped a few feet away. The black smoke crept along the ground towards shoes feet.

    Asher continued their strange rant. 2 guard lay dead wound leaking black smoke. "Dying. Death. Satisfaction. Yes yes. Death. When you die. You are usless. In life and death nothing matters. But wining." Asher said absently. Their eyes were almost black at this point. Black mist swarmed them. Asher paused staring into the black blade. Seeing shoes reflection. "A worthy opponent. Someone who can fight." Asher stabbed a guard through the heart. Ashers voice was concerning. Why were they speaking like that. Why were their eyes black, normal glow turned black. Asher started walking to shoe. Blade at their side. Their face was emotionless. Snap out ash! Snap out! Before you hurt someone you dont want to! resistance is useless, mind. their mind screamed
