  1. Herald exited, strolling towards his destination lazily. He was still nurturing the Flame under his cloak as he approached his de facto home, The Flame - a coffee shop with a sort of follower as an owner. He had been staying there without the knowledge of the owner. He arrives, seeing and ignoring the man who had made such a commotion at the square as he looked at the owner. @AltonicKeys
  2. He nods. “As it shall be.”
  3. Herald continues to nurture and whisper to the Flame.
  4. “No.” He frowned, and started to glow, taking on an almost harsh, orange red light. ”Long after this world is only ash, the throne crumpled to a crown of embers, the world will be born anew within the endless, purifying Flames of I. This existence will be cleansed, and we will return to a greater time.” The glow reached a max, and something changed in his eyes. He stared straight into Taylor’s, as if into his soul. “And I will claim you, Taylor, to meet this fiery cleansing.” The glow disappeared, and he shifted, as if coming out of a trance.
  5. “There are no issues. There is simply Flame.”
  6. @Kino The figure looked at him, opening her mouth and extending her hand. And then, a spear flashed forwards, seemingly from nowhere, driving itself through the woman’s skull. A voice rang, “I judge you unworthy.” Immediately, Ison found himself balancing better, the confusion clearing.
  7. The vines are deterred, but not for long. Meanwhile, the woman starts swinging her golden hammer at the two of them. Drin frowned, looking around. “Well… there’s got to be someone we know…”
  8. There was no reply. The storm continued, knocking him over. A figure walked near him, pushing against the storm and clearing his view.
  9. “I have no name. I am simply a Herald, of the age of Flame to come.”
  10. “It blessed me. It shows me the way.”
  11. The innkeeper looks up at them, and gives them lodging without problem. @Kino Your character had been abandoned in the storm, a chaos of wind, lightning, and more surrounding you.
  12. As he got closer to the peak, it grew taller. However, he seemed to climb faster than it grew. He reached a small ledge, where a pad of notes were set on a small table, near a tent. @IcedOutPenguin
  13. There was a mount before him, though as he got closer, it seemed to grow taller and taller. @IcedOutPenguin
  14. “It. Is. Flame was here before the king, and flame will be here after the king.” Herald started muttering this, and Taylor could see a small light behind his eyes.
  15. “Yup! I gots to educate the long lost King on his edumacation.” She shooed them away, and a strong gust of wind blew towards them, pushing them towards the mountain.
  16. “Nope! But he was always a pain.” Intellect frowned, apparently not knowing what to say, think, or do.
  17. “It is not nice. It is there. It will always be there, even after it is extinguished.”
  18. Nuh-uh! () The woman catches the kick, and follows up with a fist. Pyk attempts a Cast, but his power… shies away from the woman. The woman grins, and the swords reappear, this time a large hammer. She slammed it towards Pyk, who shifted away, reappearing behind the woman. “This power… it is much better, I believe, than when I was simply a Healer.” She leaps, shaking the ground and landing on a far side of the cathedral, putting a hand to the ground. “That said, it is still useful.” She took her hand away from the plant she had been hiding, and it grew into vines, snapping towards them and bleeding yellow Ichor.
  19. “No. It is eternal.”
  20. I added a reply for Drin The woman watched, grinning, then brought out two golden swords, seemingly from nowhere, killing the woman again. “Me first.”
