    um taking this class early

    which will be… interesting.

    BC the teacher is leaving after next year, so he wants to offer it to anyone who would have taken it given the chance.

     

    But we gotta come up with 15-20 concepts of our portfolio art for next year, could be anything, as long as it’s a narrow focus (the example he gave was “flowers in my grandma’s garden” rather than “flowers”) [He also said he doesn’t really care what we do, as long as it works.]

    And I’m a bit daunted… but I has IDEA

     

    Imma create digital depictions of stained glass art that can be seen in various cultures in my Twins Worldbuilding. The stained glass itself will depict the Rending, as well as a second event I’m not sure if I put here - the events will be melded together during the thousands of years, and imma be exploring different interpretations and corruptions of this.

      He said that it needs to be as narrow as possible while still preserving uniqueness between the pieces - here, he gave examples like emotions - “Happy” “Sad” “Angry” “Confused - wait, that looks like angry, or sad…”

      see, and mine said that you need something loose that you can base 15 different pieces off of.

      Mine is 'color' and I've been playing around with color pallets and stylization

      I wonder if it's different on purpose between painting and digital, though I wouldn't know why

    Sooooo Pursuer, Dark Souls 2, is a character that… lemme copy the description from the wiki… ”The Pursuer is a boss in Dark Souls 2. A giant, aggressive knight that relentlessly "pursues" the player. Heavily armored in black, it wields the Pursuer's Ultra Greatsword with a corresponding "heavy hitter" moveset. He can move very quickly for such a large enemy, and can, in particular, close rapidly on the player from a distance.” This, as well as the Pursuer is fought multiple times throughout the game. This is very similar to Lezian, which I found interesting, ya know?

    Kool Pyk readies himself, launching himself into the view of the woman, hoping to distract her. It worked - she turned to him, surprised that he could move. She raised a hand, and a spike of golden Ichor burst from it, hitting and bouncing off of Pyk’s armor. She narrowed her eyes, and then hissed. “What. IS. That?” in reference to the Nullite within his armor.

    A shell of pale blue glass surrounded them, blocking Rage. It extended in a semisphere, covering the half that faces Rage, though it would be easy to go around - Movement would be advised. A cage of this ”glass” formed around Rage, trapping him for a time.

Andra could feel the Threads that Fear controlled flow to her, empowering her. A cloak of darkness enveloped her, and a nagging paranoia and fear echoed in her mind, not going away. The wolf looked at Andra, crouching. It was bleeding Golden Ichor, snarling.
