Proposed Dual Character Arcs: Qiangzhe doesn't change at all, but audience perception of him changes as they grow to get used to him. Meanwhile, Fuyu changes to become more and more bitter / self-centered, until it comes to a breaking point

when QIangzhe, who the audience should now tolerate, completely betrays EVERYONE. This shocks Fuyu back from being terrible, while the audience is like, wait, I thought she would be the traitor!
