    I shall not be accepting WaT spoilers at this time. So I just started reading Dragonsteel Prime… and on just the first or second page… There are a whole lot of similarities between El and the Lord of the War. Immediately, the perspective character notes that the armor on the humanoid Lord of the War may have been skin, or it may have been organic. Parshendi carapace is organic, and is what they use for armor. El has metal - theorized to be Dragonsteel by some (*cough* I dunno including me) [by others it has been said to be aluminum] - inlaid to his armor. There seems to be maybe some inspiration, like the Shattered plains stuff.

    Adtae is surprised to find that the light doesn’t seem to block his Andarik shadows. He explains, though, that it must be because this world does not have the Andarik. The Andarik does not break, and seems to overlap slightly with everything it touches. When it gets near Adtae, that overlap stops.

    Hmmmm… pretty sure if there was the people who created em wudda weaponized it. That is not saying no, just that… maybe… a very dangerous weapon will pop up eventually. You could prevent waste heat, or you could turn gamma from like a nuke into red. ”Author bleed over? Why is the author bleeding?”

    Well, yes. But Jilu don’t know all that sciency mumbo jumbo. Personally, I’d be interested in the fact that that power could turn gamma red. ”What?”

    By the way, red has the lowest frequency. Suddenly everything coming from every light source was red. ”Seems interesting.” I forgot to say that Jilu’s words have red sound waves. Yes, that makes perfect sense.

    “I would eat it.” The color profusely refused to change back. Perhaps Narration was required here.

    He handed the dagger over. It… felt strange. There was no light reflecting off of it, and it almost felt like it sunk into her flesh.

    Those metamaterials were useless when faced with the fact that she was just changing the light, not the material. And yes. She was destroying energy from a distance. ”No! I’m a werebeast! I got these powers from eating a rabbit.” honestly I see a way to connect this and Eyes of Adtae…. hmmmmm

    The Andarik. Condensed into a hollow, broken shell. As the pure Andarik flows through this shell, I can grab some of it. Force it to my will. He extended a hand, and a shadowy dagger appeared in it, next to his shadow writing.

    I didn’t say it was useful, I just… dumped it on you. Also… Madness may wish to meet you, should she ever get her powers back. I wouldn’t stand for it, and would probably send Parasite against you should that happen, but… *shrug* Jilu appeared next to him, and he turned red. She had a number of vials in a bag strapped around her waist.

    Is rebus a narrator? Well, I already have a heckofalot of knowledge! Here! He gave Rebus a deep understanding of a magic system he had been concocting. it is Adtae “This other one” is a Notblade. Not part of reality, so it does not need to touch one to induce the pain. Though contact is more effective. Also, the pain is equivalent to the amount of pain Madness could bring against any of her Servants - a heck of a lot. The one Bat already has created illusions that can fool even Narrators. Yes, with further inspection, they may see through it, but… *shrug*

    i find it tedious to argue, yes? so… trice. also, I need to branch out, ya know, to other worlds. don’t keep my characters contained to my nARRATIVE. i’m also rather chaotic.

    So? Ok, truce. I’ll give you a Notblade (a sliver of the power I took from Madness) if you agree to peace. I’m not giving you Parasite, though. That one needs guarding, not using. A sheathed blade fell from the sky near Tam.

    Adtae steps towards it, heedless of the danger. One of the arcs hits him, but it appears that was coincidence - it isn’t affected at all by him, and just passes through him.
