    It snapped towards him, and a single claw touched his body as he turned back. Dev evaporated for just a moment, dissolving into smoke—a strange feeling of stagnation came over him. And then he was back. Aelorin stood behind him, a hand on his shoulder. ”No.” The dragon screamed as it dissolved into mist, which then coursed into his body. He could feel the dragon, appetite satiated for now, take residence in his body. ”You will… need to feed it, to stay… alive.” Aelorin smiled. “You’re… like me… now…” He could not feel the other Eternals. @KaladinsSenseOfHumourSpren

    @Spark of Hope A shadow, taking the form of a hound—hair like spines covering an emaciated body—snapped at her heels when she entered the bubble. Aelorin turned his head towards her, but did not move. The fog swirled around the bubble, and words formed. I see… or it sees… I see you.

    Feet per foot. It wouldn’t be unitless, because those are feet in different directions…. And I don’t want to answer the word problem with a unitless answer my teacher would kill me and sacrifice me to the math dictators

    They can’t register as text, their bits n stuff aren’t sent in the body of your messages, and won’t show up with most search algorithms.

    Like, my PFP is a picture of of Oryx rn, but if I edited, and then looked it up on the shard or in Google, you wouldnt be able to find the PFP.

    So you can put anything there that complies with the forum rules, and if it were like a cypher or representation of sensitive information, no one would be able to know.

    @Kansas Stormcursed @Spark of Hope A dark form erupted from the fog—seemingly forming from the fog. it was followed by a multitude of other forms. They rushed at the collection of people—most honoring the shrine of Aeia—devouring them. One of the forms consolidated into a scaly figure, muscle and claw shaped from darkness. Proud wings extended behind the body, and a loud roar of pain sounded. It lashed out, limbs striking whatever close in its blind rage. Its victims dissolved to must, which joined the dragon, seeping under its dark scales. Aelorin closed his eyes, from under his mask. The action was useless, for his eyes were far too damaged to move as such, but it was a familiar action. Something he could feel, almost. The forms pounced on a child near him. The child died. The forms pounced on the mother. The mother died. The forms pounced on the father, closest to Aelorin and the rest of the party. They stopped short, hitting an invisible barrier. Indeed, not a single form seemed to be able to near Aelorin from where he sat. The father collapsed, a cry of anguish coming from his lungs as he stumbled forwards—on his knees as he held the air where his family had been. He died as he hugged himself. The dragon roared again, pouncing towards Dev and pushing a claw through the barrier. It stepped forwards, approaching with difficulty. @Argenti A dark, cloaked form appeared behind you, though none other seemed to notice it.

    Aelorin inclined his head, and cleared the dirt. He nodded. He shrugged. Thankfully, most people avoid the chasms. A disturbance started in the mists, the fog consolidating. Aelorin struggled, but spoke. "You... need to run."

    He smiled faintly, though it was not visible under the mask. He moved his hands, but couldn't speak further. He wrote on the grass, lines in the dirt.. It is difficult for me to speak. Clear. Something... happened, when I was young. Clear. I wasn't the same. Clear. It is difficult for me to feel.

    Aelorin replaced the mask—a single darker color, sighing and inclining his head towards Kreen. “In case you were unaware, this is a shrine to the Goddess of Light, Aeia.” He placed his hand in the grass again before continuing. “I do not know why you are here, at the edge of the world. I don’t even know what I’m here for.” “The fog stirs.”

    Adtae Aelorin felt the grass underneath him. His hand ran through it, and he reminisced. Feelings. He used to have them, at least in the important ways. No longer. Aelorin took his mask off momentarily, letting the not-so-fresh fog of the chasm bite at his raw flesh. He supposed that this used to be a shrine to the other one. The bright one. Perhaps he should feel something. Rage. Elation. Something. Feelings. He used to have them, at least in the important ways. No longer.

    … I disagree (not with you, but with the fact that pacing shouldn’t be done there) I could see that with like… the chapel room, but… the foyer should be fine???? I don’t think that last thing is tru I know peeps who sit in the foyer, they cool! anyways

    i saw Kajsa and Mippo’s SUs and now I feel guilty.

     

     

    Like I have said, this year was

    Globally: 0/5, return to sender

    School: 2.5/5, return to sender

    Personally: 5/5

    so I don’t need to talk about globally

    and I’ve been ranting about school a lot

    but I will talk a bit more about school

    I have 7 AP classes

    6 active AP classes (2 were single semester classes)

    And sooooo much stress

    so much

    Between Lang (I was absent for a big assignment and my teacher is lame), Seminar (I was absent for a big assignment but my teacher is awesome most of the time), Digital Art (I have taken one other beginning art class, never done any other visual art things, and now I’m in AP and have to present 20 pieces to college board by the end of the year, but my teacher is very awesome), and Physics (Im very bad at turning in assignments), this year has been ultra very stressful school-wise

    HOWEVER

    i have fun classes

    including: Microeconomics, Digital Art, and Physics

    All awesome teachers

    My physics teacher is my friends dad

    Ive gotten to draw my novels in art, really fun realizing just how much I have in this world (it’s the gsrp world)

    Micro, that teacher likes to talk to me about my creative writing and he’s cool

     

    so schools been a mixed sort of thing, yeah

     

    personally, this years been a blast (besides the stress, yk)

    I committed to an hour of writing every day (mostly)

    I got past 20000 words, ~60 pages

    It’s going well

    I went to Dragonsteel, got to LITERALLY SEE THE MAN HIMSELF

    and i got to start the Cosmere RPG

    Even if I had some bad experiences with that two days ago, the game is awesome.

    Stranger Things!!!! Awesome finale, y’all won’t get any spoilers from me

     

    (I am aware that New Year’s resolution is a little considered a bad tradition by some but *shrug*)

    For my New Year’s resolution, I am formalizing my writing goals.

    WOAH WAIT WHAT HOW DARE YOU its the other LDS Brandon Brandon Mull hes a younger target audience for his first few books, but the books aged with their audience. i recommend the books, fablehaven expands into dragon watch. but warning if you read dragon watch (i dont mind this but) the entire series, especially the later books, are kinda a pretty direct metaphor for LDS beliefs, minor spoilers but its generally a very good series. very cool. the character below is my favorite character.
