    Since I don’t really control em, imma just say that they sense them. (Who does? They should be pinged.) Each of the snakes senses this, the illusion able to fool even an unsuspecting Narrator.

    Illusion could be useful here. Scare away some snakes. Bat becomes aware of a property that it has in very special circumstances. Pain is better at that, but the property on Illusion is much more effective.
