“Yea, a bit of a pain.” As she did, she saw the Threads making up everything, including the Starstone and Threadstone.

incoherent A story built one word at a time

Ash thought that her sister was lying about her financial destitution. Her only Feruchemical expenses were metal for her Nicrosilmind, not her addiction to oxygen or something more dangerous. Ash left Scadrial, joining rogues Alene and drinking several oxygen bottles, which cost millions of spheres. Meanwhile, Simon Kholin started embezzling Archbishop Tanner of millions of Breaths that belonged to Tanavast. He brought Ash the money, but -
“That is a simple mechinisizationism that should help your clarity of thought.” She brought forth another Threadstone, in the shape of glasses. “Put these on.” ”It might bond to you, might not. I have ways around that, but it’d be a bit difficult.”
-
“Maybe, maybe not. Hard to tell.”

No reply. “Nothing! Let’s go.” He exited the room. Intellect put on his spectacles. “Aaaahhh. Interesting mechanism… hhmmm… the electricity is to close to Fire, and the World Fog converted it to that.”

Era 8 Episode 1: Troubles in New Hallandren

Teon Asheol, the Mistwarrens, police headquarters Teon sighed. He was not nearly old enough to feel this weight already. “We are in a place called the Alleys - quite difficult to get here. You could say that we won the lottery…” he sighed again. “But that is… an optimistic view.” ”I think I’ll need to start from the ground up, though. Where you are from, Roshar, is a single planet in a system of many. My planet of origin is Sel, and the man who attacked you is… presumably… from a planet named Scadrial. ”Where we are is… not an in-between. It’s a place that many accidentally fall in, regardless of planet. On Sel, we have no Radiants. Rather, Elantrians. I became one, but kinda fell into the Alleys directly afterwards. I never really learned how to be Elantrian, so… yeah. The Scadrian is something called a Twinborn, and has a particular hatred for Radiants.” -
“We’ll need to go hunting! For a falling star - well, rather, a meteor, but that is besides the point.”

Teon, The Mistwarrens, Teon’s police headquarters Teon walked in, waving to Lyam. ”Hey Teon. Any leads on the Shardthief?” ”Got one right here.” Lyam nodded. “Hey. I’m assuming the two of you are heading to debrief?” ”Yea.” Teon led them into a smalller room, where he sat in a small room. ”I suspect you will want an explanation of,” he gestured around himself, “where we are? The Alleys?” -
As she did so, she felt great strength - similar to that from her bond to Mirth. @IcedOutPenguin “Middle of the World Fog. Not particularly safe.”
-
“Nexus, Threadstone with a capital T. Don’t worry, I’ll come with.”
-
“Now form that Starstone - rather those two Starstones - into a feedback loop that also feeds into the Threadstone.”
-
“I’m special. You’ll need to use this to start, but I will still need to light it.” @IcedOutPenguin ”Seems as if it is Joy. Hm. Didn’t realize she created two worlds. Good for her.”

… what website? *joking*

“Well, usually any Starstone needs an extreme Essence to activate. This will provide.” He looked through his spectacles. “I can tell you.”

Era 8 Episode 1: Troubles in New Hallandren

Teon Asheol, the Mistwarrens, the streets and police offices “It’s not far. I don’t need it - I have my Aons, and whoever cut my hand off thankfully did not know that I am left-handed. Now we need to be quiet - I can’t leave more of those Aons to cover our tracks.” He turned another corner, and they came across a medium sized building in the nicer - ish - parts of the Mistwarrens. -
“That should work. Now - we need a second construct. This will power the first.” She got out another black stone. “I want you to get home. Perhaps warn Joy and Agony. Or whichever Spirit governs your world.”

@TwinStorm “Look; I can and will talk to you, but right now we need to get somewhere safer. I would suggest going invisible again, spren. We need to lose the Shardthief.” He drew an Aon, silencing their footsteps and turning a corner. -

“Because Fear winning is quite scary. Now, let me teach you some basic Thread manipulation. Turn that to a shape that will strengthen Threads - should be basic enough.”

Asheol took it in calmly, until he heard that the aggressor hated radiants. “Wait… you got attacked by him? That’s… that’s bad. We need to go. Now, before he attacks again.” He turned. “Come on. We are going to the police station - it will be safer there.” -
“I am… one…” she giggled, “who knows a heck of a lot. The stone will teach you basic constructs, but we won’t necessarily need to make a new one for each.” ”Well, good thing I do! I have a bunch of it here - although most of this is regular old Starstone.”

@TwinStorm Asheol frowned. “And how am I to do that? If you couldn’t tell, I am missing a hand - I cannot necessarily do much. ”I am known here as Asheol. Are you okay?” -
Hang on, lemme add you to the pm

Era 8 Episode 1: Troubles in New Hallandren
SpiritOfWrath replied to Koloss17's topic in The Alleyverse
Teon Asheol, the Mistwarrens, the streets Teon cradled the stump of his hand as he walked down the streets, various leads - police and otherwise - running through his mind. He sighed. He had gone to a Radiant healer not even a month ago, but the healer had informed him that his wound was too old. It was internalized, now. He cocked his head as he heard a commotion - quiet at times, loud at others - not too far away. He heard at least a metalborn, but he wasn’t sure what the other party was. Diverting his route back to the police station, h started heading towards this sound, soon coming across a rabid man. Blood stained his face, specifically around his eye, though there was no wound. So he was either a Radiant, or it wasn’t his blood. Making a quick Aon, light flooded the streets. ”Hello?” -
