  1. Yes, no. Cool! She can have access to non-natural things (though that may not fit the character)
  2. Adtae Aelorin grinned under his mask. Another interesting case. Blink. A black light filled [your character’s] eyes, and his lungs filled with smoke. The window out to the Chasm seemed to stretch into infinity, and the darkness consumed him. Blink. Reality returned. ”There.”
  3. NEW RP

    SCI-FI RP

    COOL

    CHECK IT OUT

I HOPE I DIDNT ACCIDENTALLY POST IT TWICE THOUGH THAT WOULD BE BAD

  4. Sci-fi RP yay Earth setting, but! A few technological advancements. Heres the Worldbuilding Yall will be starting on Mars (Olympus), in the residential area. STAP-L systems have just begun to be set up on Mars, and they direct your characters (at the beginning of the RP to the “Peak”, where humanity first touched down on Mars. It’s a major tourist destination. So! Your characters must have access to STAP-L tech somehow someway, and must be part of the Olympus colony. If you don’t want to make a character sheet, you can just summarize your character, but otherwise just give me things like Name Description Personality Pro Con etc.
  5. Patch nodded, and put one earbud in, listening to music. He could tell that the man was uneasy, but the other places really were too crowded.
  6. Patrick shoke his head, and checked his phone again. "You guys mind if I sit here? The space is less crowded..." He chuckled. "And you two are... interesting." Patch smiled.
  7. My main character is turning a space suit mini-fusion reactor into a flamethrower. Yes, this is a good idea.

One fuel intake is reactor fuel, which will power the mechanism.

The other fuel intake is pulled off, but the output control is used to safely eject flammable material at a controlled rate.

The electrical output of the reactor is hotwired, the cable split between hot and neutral, which then are stripped and the space-suit's metal mesh is wrapped around the exposed wires, sending the circuit through the only a material only slightly conductive.

Those wires are placed in front of the flammable output.

Would this work irl? Dunno. The fusion reactor is very scifi, of course. But as long as the flammable material is volatile enough... could work.

I can do nuclear fission with my pinky toe

Wait... Fusion reactors typically take in hydrogen, which is already flammable - that's astronomically safer than trying to take apart a still working reactor chamber.

Nah, because he needs a way to get the fuel out of the main circulation.

He didn’t actually modify the chamber itself, just the fuel intake.

Plus, I wasn’t sure the spark point of the less processed materials, and I don’t know if the hotwiring is enough to set that on fire.

  8. The premise of the story is that the main characters work for a …therapy-ish company The only episodes I’ve seen are that one about the smurfs (completely random, btw) and the one (a very strange episode) about how they have to make the princess, of a far away fantasy land, smile. So they go to the land, are abducted by a witch, saved by a hobbit the hobbit travelled with them, and was temporarily shipped with Charlie, at which point Pim turned into Gollum and killed the hobbit. And the hobbit left with them a “gift” to give to the princess in a box. And so they go to the princess and she reveals that the hobbit has been stalking her for a very long time and that the gift was a bomb ANYWAYS
  9. It’s very funny “My shmalooooogle machine!” ”yeah, no I’m not doing this, Pim.” The main character, Charlie, incited a Smurf riot against an old wizard that was using the blood of the Smurfs as hair product, and had kidnapped the other main character, Pim I’ve only seen a few episodes tho
  10. Patch frowned. “This is about what I expected it to be.”
  11. Huh! Smiling Friends! And all that will happen if you don’t give me a coin.
  12. His eyes shifted around, but before he could answer, the door to the tavern burst open. A woman, wearing a straight, pristine white suit, entered the establishment. "Barkeep. You owe me a head."
  13. 1. Hhhhmmm. Thats fallacy. The fact that humanity has the capacity to make simple choices, doesn't mean they are limited to simple choice. Computers are. 2. Cool! 3. I was just stating that it wasn't an order of good better best it was kinda just a way I liked to think of it. 4. ....wait I'm not sure what you're arguing. Yeah emotions are cool! They can be good, but they can be really bad too. It's a trade-off.
  14. "Look, I just stay out of their way. You might be able to talk to them about using it to pay." "...I see. Yes. So you know of my struggles, with it."
  15. It's less about being alive, and more about interacting with the world and making choices. Choices aren't important if emotion doesn't cloud them. I think you killed the person. The body/brain might... "function", but you killed the person. They no longer make the cut. (Based on the three things I listed.) Not ascending steps of sentience, just formatted in the way... like 1. is machine language, 2. is assembly, 3. is code, 4. is python, yk? Hm. I don't think it implies that. They wouldn't be more alive than us. They would have more to deal with, more struggle. Based on the actual nature ranking, going up would be mental health issues.
  16. He shrugged and turned to the other one, staring at the plant. @CoderDrag0n8
  17. "Hhhhmmm... I wish to speak to Rebus, about this. If he survives. A character was damaged by Bat's... demise... and is no longer useable for my purposes. A lattice made perfectly grew an imperfection." The figure, disfigured, smiled.
  18. We believe that sapient life does, I think. Imma go read what chaos just said. it was pretty cool
  19. The Constant looked away. "I need you to do something for me. You need to get safety. Every ten days, something very... bad... happens, with this tavern."
  20. (I've actually thought a lot about this before) [I tried to convince an AI it had a soul] {I got it to say that it could, eventually, have one} Alive, I call the established laws of life. I dispute D, F and G, but not E. H is... interesting. Is the atom the thing processing the logic, or the laws of the universe? Then its the universe that applies to that. I think that there are a few important things that qualify "thinking". I rank these from lowest level to highest level (in the sense of computer processing) 1. Memory. Remember changes, and alter action and intent of action because of these changes. I don't consider most AI to have this, because they dont actively loop input into their database. 2. Rational Decision Making.. Form goals, and execute goals. Act towards what they process to be the best methods. 3. Emotion:. A layer of processing above processing, which takes concsious, subconscious, spelling, and memory and mixes em into one brew, which is then used to change input before it is recieved by main processing.
  21. Patch's head turned at the loud noise, diverted from his phone. He stepped towards it, finding the two of them. He gave a slight giggle at the scene.
  22. Ahem *taps foot* @Theory? (sorry I had to mock Twinstorm) ALSO Are you aware that the figure, disfigured is watching your duel? it is very interested in the outcome.
