Not much. We're just pushing through. Really, just any encouragement and support helps. I also have schooling to do and just... Help helps. First thing. You did nothing wrong. You can be a good friend by you opening up the conversation if she won't start it by just letting her know (maybe you could phone her) that she has support, and that she can rely on you. If you know where she lives, maybe you should check up on her… I hope she has a full and speedy recovery. רפואה שלמה!

The Coppermind states that the spike is steel. I believe that is mentioned in the second arc of Mistborn. Also, wouldn't a smaller spike not be able to hold as much Investiture as a larger spike. Investiture does take up space, and it is interchangeable with energy and matter, as per Khriss's Second Law of Investiture.

I could drop this news… I have a cold and my 11-year-old sister has a very bad case of Influenza A (probably H3N2) and my 14-year-old sister is in the hospital for stomach problems and my mother broke her toe. My sister with the flu is now breathing much better. She had two Code Blues. (Where the patient either stops breathing or has a heart attack). The last two weeks have been a nightmare. BTW. TOTALLY AGREED! IF YOU HARASS SOMEONE TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER, YOU ARE A BULLY! THAT IS THE VERY DEFINITION OF A BULLY!

If someone ripped Kelsier's steel spike that is in his eye out, would that turn him back into a cognitive shadow? Would there be any other effects other than the Ghostbloods suddenly losing their leader. Also, how large does the spike have to be to hold his cognitive shadow to his physical body? Any other interesting things about that spike?

But we know general relativity exists because time-dilation happens all the time in the Wax and Wayne Series as Wayne uses bendalloy to create a time bubble where time is contacted. Also, Marasi uses cadmium to create a time bubble where time is dilated.

I have made the executive decision to read The Sunlit Man again because of Scadrial's influence in the book. The book is set in the future, so it contains many hints. I would recommend others to read this as well.
