    8 rn, but I was running high on 1 this weekend so that was a nice break Get Mariokart!     Aight so I had this idea. The martial art I do has a lot of philosophies, so I’m gonna occasionally put one in here along with an explanation of it and what I think it means. If anybody wants to debate meaning, put in a different interpretation/application, or add a philosophy of their own, GREAT! If not, also cool. Right so I’ll start off with the very first philosophy, and the most basic: the Three O’s: Open Mind (Conceive), Open Heart (Believe), and Open Arms (Achieve). Open Mind is the first because this is the first step: you have to be open to new possibilities, even if you later decide you don’t like them. Open Heart involves accepting; not necessarily unconditionally, but at least accepting. The last step, to me, has two meanings. The first, implied by the philosophy language itself, is achieving this is the get-off-the-couch-and-actually-do-stuff part. However, it can also, obviously, involve embracing, and to me this means in the sense of forgiveness, which is super lacking in society. That doesn’t mean forgiveness need be immediate and complete, but it should at least be an option. That was my late-night analysis of that philosophy, I’ll likely end up coming back and revising it but there it is for now. Also idk if this is really a good idea or if it’ll get ignored but
