    "That's a good question. Hang on, lemme check." Once again, Cep seems to fold in on himself, disappearing with a pop. A minute later, he reappears. "Ah don' think so. Tha most ah could figure is that they don't like the orbs for some reason, but they don' think the orbs are gonna hurt them...so ah'm not really sure why they're afraid of them. Ah did catch one voice reference 'before', but ah couldn't dig more outta them." Cep looks at his empty glass, then snags another off a nearby table and takes a drink.

    Cep scratches his head. "Oh. Ah hadn't thought o' that. Ah jus' thought the voices somehow knew the orbs were there an' were trying ta warn me about 'em."

    "Ah wonder...they started givin' warnings shortly before yeh saw them orbs...maybe that's what set 'em off?"

    "Similar? How d'yeh mean?" As Taeidin finishes talking, Cep pauses and looks confused. "Ah...ah don' know! Yeh've got a point, ah somehow remember that yeh shouldn't stay longer than ten minutes, but ah can't for the life of me say how ah know that! As for whether yeh were a danger to me...ah don' know. Are yeh?" Cep doesn't seem wary, just curious.

    "Ah can't understand 'em most o' the time, but when they get really loud usually they're warnin' me o' some danger. Never specifics, jus' tellin' me ta get away."

    *hugs* That's really hard, I'm sorry. Death kinda is what gives life its purpose: look at any fictional culture where death doesn't exist, and there's this recurring theme that nothing more is contributed to society/the world/etc. Death, though, gives us an end point and seems to push us to contribute and help others, which it seems like you do. Helping yourself is harder (I know it well). Sometimes, all we can do is help others and hope they help us. At least, that's my two cents
