    We should start a thread for this, 'cause I really would love to continue debating this. It's one of the things that has so many different ways of looking at it, and as long as everyone's willing to discuss it openly, it can be really fun to debate

    I fully respect religion as a set of ideals, but to me—I want to emphasize that, TO ME, and I'll expand on that in a little bit—it seems like you said it may be, a half-lie with good intentions. That said, my own system of belief is a little convoluted, but could probably be classified as some branch of humanism, though I typically just identify as an atheist, mostly for convenience's sake. This whole viewpoint comes mostly from things like quantum physics and relativity, so it's a little odd, but whatevs. To me, religion is true for each person. If a person believes God, or some higher being, exists, then it does; if someone believes there isn't, then there isn't. Essentially, we each live within our own plane of existence that overlaps with others but differs in certain key truths and ways of viewing the world. This also has to do with things like how the color "red" might actually look different to different people, we just all agree to call it "red". Not gonna get too much into this 'cause it's a pretty iffy topic, but just saying that what's true for one personneed not be true for another. Yeah no I agree a lot with this; I would add that truth itself is reallymore subjective than we'd like it to be, so keep that in mind.

    "Alright then, 'ere we go." Cep lights the match, touches it to the wick at the end of the dynamite, then waits a second. Just as it's about taboit the dynamite, he throws it out the window. BANG! "That oughta do it!" Cep is grinning like a child. "Let's go have a looksie then."

    Ok update of the weekend (idk when I'll be able to be on next guys, we'll be in random hotels for the next few days and I have no idea if I'll be able to connect to wifi, though I should be back home by Friday at the latest)

    Anyway weekend. Black belt test was Friday, and that went really well, the three of us testing from my dojo were clearly so far ahead of most of the others in stamina so that was nice. Then we had about two hours of sparring Saturday night that was super fun 'cause I got to spar some really skilled people.

    And then today we got promoted, so I am now officially a black belt!!!! And then we all went and danced from like 9:30 'til about 2:10 my current time. So now everything storming hurts, but it was well worth it. I'll get the videos soon if y'all want them.

    Hour and a half 'til the test! I'm literally bouncing off the walls rn. I've gotta go do some prep and then pace in circles for an hour, so I'll see y'all much later tonight (but not actually that late 'cause I'm an hour ahead of when I normally am)
