  1. The usual busy, a few new people that I know of and a lot I don't. I don't think any more people have really disappeared since you were last on, but my sense of time is pretty screwy so that's not an accurate measurement
  2. *sigh* Doin pretty good, you?
  3. Hi Just a suggestion If this is what you're looking for, you might want to add [support] to the topic title, because "speculation" suggests the same kind of topic tag as [theory], where this kind of back-and-forth reasonable debate is expected
  4. They experienced the same conflicting signals Taridin had—he was simultaneously right next to them, incomprehensibly far away, or in some other variation of space related to them. Erryin's head quickly started to hurt.
  5. Oh... Oh you missed out on so much
  6. Dude If this were a job I would have it already That would be so sick
  7. And you tried to say you were more dirty-minded than I This is obvious man
  8. - "My apologies—that was included in the first statement. I did not make that clear." Asharak nods. "Well, I believe that's all I need from you. Thanks!" With that, he releases his hold on the Mindscape, letting signals through. Does Rebus automatically connect to the nanites?
  9. - "Interesting. Very well then, here comes my other question. What do you intend to do about it? Will you just leave it be, or fight it?"
  10. !! - Asharak nods. "Very true." He waves a hand, and as the fog reaches him, it is swallowed up by the Mindscape, its signals immediately cut off. "Tell me, Rebus. What has become of your status now? With one action, Malevolence comes close to usurping your prominence in this Thread." We don't really have any more Protagonist contenders at the moment—none of the good characters are really prominent enough
  11. Myles sighed. His Author had forgotten about him again. He didn't even know what had happened to that plotline he was in. Inwardly, he shook his fist at the sky and cursed his Author, knowing he would hear, but outwardly he showed no reaction. He turned in a circle, looking at the void he was stuck in and waiting for his Author to fill in the area. As time dragged on, he began to grow impatient, wondering if his Author was just keeping him here indefinitely. Then—there. A small world, barely more than a meter-wide cifcle of stone, with a chair in the middle. He landed and sat down gratefully—though grudgingly—and began to think. There went many of his plans, and his Author's. He had no idea where this direction was going to go now. He put his elbows on his knees and bowed his head, considering.
  12. Alright look My two cents Generally, that's the wise and mature choice IF doing so would make the situation worse. But Don't sit by when you could help the situation, and don't step in when you'll ruin it. Never 100% either way
  13. He can't quite tell. Or rather he can...but it doesn't make sense. The connection is faint, but he can track it down. Cep is far in front of them. He's right in front of them. He's behind them. He's above them. He's not there at all. The tracking soon starts making his brain hurt.
