So… if they’re supposed to be my challenge, the antagonists to me, then… Tam, what if…. what if I’m the hero? he asked, not daring to hope. it gets different. It’s more abt Cricket realizing he might be a good person and lead a good life than him being intentional. That was just the start of his thought process. Perseus, used to rough terrain, had fallen asleep in the rocks. see above answer
