    He leaned over the counter, glancing around nervously. "I need a standard issue guard pistol and... an Omega class ionic rifle." It was illegal for him to own that gun, but he meant to stop the kidnapper.

Atreides threw his shield up, avoiding the brunt of the flame but also melting his shield. He staggered back, burned and growled. "You'll pay for that."
