  1. I had never noticed this... Not sure what to make of it, but there's a very good chance that it's more than a coincidence/accident. I'll have to think about this some more...
  2. Anyone else surprised there aren't more stonewards?
  3. So... Here's my take on a possible revision of the Cloudskippers' order. Order: Cloudskippers Surges: Gravitation, Abrasion Radiant Spren: Truespren Defining Attributes: Loyal, Authentic Plate Spren: Flamespren (Plate has the optical effect of being wreathed in pure white flame) Second Ideal: I will empower those who have been left behind. Third Ideal: I will never leave another to struggle alone, regardless of circumstance. Fourth Ideal: I accept that I must give people space to be imperfectly human - including myself. Final Ideal: I am... I have always thought the fusion of Gravitation and Abrasion would be the most fun for me personally! I really liked your name (Cloudskippers) and the general theme of hope as well. I think that fits really well. However, I wanted to experiment with the idea that hope could be more a byproduct of the Cloudskippers' presence rather than their ideal. This also gave me an opportunity to experiment a little bit using a framework published by Dofurion linked above. I'm not sure I've really succeeded here, haha, but I had a lot of fun trying for a few minutes!
  4. Rock as a stoneward, because... Rock! I'm curious exactly why you feel Kaladin could fit in with the skybreakers. I don't think I necessarily disagree, at least not to a strong degree, but I don't think I share your instinct on this either. I guess I'm struggling to imagine what set of laws Kaladin would be willing to bind himself to. Maybe his own morals? But that doesn't really feel like a skybreaker to me... I feel like Jasna could maybe pick up dustbringer. I haven't met enough dustbringers to form a solid understanding of what that order looks like on average... Actually I might be completely misunderstanding what their basic tenant implies as well. I always thought the dustbringers were supposed to be great at self control - as a natural result of their understanding (both understanding of the world around them, and understanding of themselves). You seem to imply the opposite up above... Do I have this backwards? Lift could maybe be a willshaper.
