    The room was tilting a bit, too. Is that not every trait ones such as us possess? I have been very careful not to change what I want. Rebus solidified another door, then opened the first. Wow. For the probably-teleporter, maybe switching the line priorities can help? One line longways with shorter lines coming off of it (also quite convenient for holding on to). Yeah, lean and smirk are good. He's got like six different smiles He'd go with striking greyscale unless he was trying to blend in. Actually, do you think white would work? Blank and grey accents, at the edges and maybe the seam lines. As for design, I agree that the one on the left is really complicated - maybe it'd work for the party, but not for everyday use.

    Will smiled at the man. Not that appearances were much to go off of - an experiment designed to make a person appear trustworthy would be exactly what he'd do if he had the organization's resources and lack of ethics.

Rebus, having expected something of the sort, mostly caught Symbol before she hit the ground - though used to enhanced reflexes, he did not so much catch her as ensure her fall did not result in a concussion. Still, though, he took the key and the vial, and poked a teleporting door with a torch.

    Some more appeared. Just out of curiosity, how are they positioned? Rebus grinned, very proud of himself. I don't know about Lady Bug, but if I were on the receiving end of the grin, I'd be running. "Of course. I don't need magic or technology to be a threat."

    After much discussion, the scientists decide that the crystals are likely used by the plants as some sort of combustion catalyst, akin to mitochondria on earth. Such a material is very useful, but biotech and fire do not mix well… Once some redundancy was acquired more investigation could be done. The architects and technicians were already arguing about whether frivolous buildings rather than time-tested, gravity-optimized designs were worth wasting the limited resources. @Negative_Null

    While they were waiting, Will looked at the buttons and estimated the travel time, trying to figure out how tall the facility was.

    Even through Shoe had poured out the cola, there was more to be found. There were also energy drinks. Rebus smiled at Symbol. “I did tell you I’d come with you if I could.” “You mustn’t worry - I’ve killed the withergeist already. Omnicide is rather poor decision making, and I hold enough power that withergeist bonds hold no temptation.” “Ding ding ding!” Heir grinned. “You get a prize!” Rebus would have to do something about that. Perhaps the next test would help him be more aware of his surroundings in the future.
