  1. "Not anymore. At least some of the members attending your lessons will get personality and more power, so they'll be able to take him on."
  2. The orb is very dark grey, seems about the size of a basketball and perfectly round, has lightning leaping at it, and is continuously Ennulling several things, including gravity and electromagnetism affecting itself. "Good. I need to learn my powers. How do I move?"
  3. Hehehehehe Also he said something to her in that post, by the way.
  4. His organization is a travesty, though it does fulfill a niche story-wise. And my Author is spending too much time thinking about them without doing anything about it. Like your brother - I heard they attacked him and got shredded. They’re minions - story wise they are expendable and thus cannot defeat anyone significant alone. What are you talking about? Rebus is completely trustworthy! Though he would quite willingly help do something about Ruia, at least if problems like disintegrating Narrators start to occur. I’m kind of sad Atredies didn’t make any guesses about the Plotblade, actually. I’m thinking I made it a little too frustrating.
  5. The sword gleams once more, then dissolves. Atreides can still hear it laughing in his mind for a moment.
  6. The sword continues chuckling. Tell you what, if you guess right I'll probably let you know, and then things will simply go off ahead of schedule.
  7. The orb doesn't move, but lightning crackles into it in a rhythm, creating a buzz that approximates speech. "Hello. Are you here to move me?"
  8. I dunno - what do they usually do with new Ennullers (they told Rebus they'd take it after three business days, which have passed, I think)? It has no name, no context, and almost no idea how to use its powers. The orb floats in its faraday cage, lightning arcing to the bars.
  9. Sure… Let’s say I’m the blade of frustrating stubbornness. I’m not, but you can pretend I am. For instance, I’m going to teleport back to whoever I’m bonded to once you imprison me. That seems pretty frustrating and stubborn to me.
  10. The blade continues laughing. Why would I want that? You want me to squander my potential?
  11. The sword gleams and laughs. Why should I tell you?
  12. Ah, but what if I'm important? Rebus would have beaten you if he trusted me. While fighting you, he only used me as a sword. I can be so much more.
  13. The blade gleams smugly at him. Perhaps. I'm sure it's a great idea for you to bond me.
  14. The blade flashes, and laughs in his mind. You do know he isn't actually dead, correct? You have a poor grasp of this situation, it seems. As for my purpose, I have no reason to tell you. You'd twist it into a mockery, just as you've done to my frankly simpleminded colleague.
  15. The blade is lighter than Savior Complex, and speaks in his mind. Wow, what a savior. You do know what your blade can do, correct?
  16. Ah, but that's cheating. Rebus falls to the ground, a hole his his chest. "I wasn't even going to kill you." he says, then laughs and closes his eyes. His Plotblade clatters to the ground, and suddenly flashes brightly as Rebus's body crumbles into nanomachines.
  17. Rebus's sword vanishes, and he tries to catch Savior Complex, stepping into it and betting that it will slow down rather than strike him down. The Ghost seems amused. "That would be expensive... but as long as you teach the lessons and return the pieces, we can call this even." @xinoehp512, I think the time has come for the Ennullers to take the robot Ennuller.
  18. “Very well. I shall bring you such students.” Rebus shakes his head. I merely dislike the Ghost. For a few reasons, actually.
  19. “We have many members, far more than would be practical to teach. Do you have criteria for prospective students?” As the shadowy figure continues speaking, Rebus’s expression gets gradually more annoyed.
  20. Rebus smiles. “I do indeed, though the purification process is frustrating.” He taps the floor with his foot, and it opens, a dream crystal the size of a basketball rising out of the hole on a pedestal. “Ah. That blade is powerful. What do you wish in exchange for it?” The figure pauses. “Or do you wish to offer mentorship, rather than Mentor.” “The best who took the hard way, at least.” Rebus says, stepping back to pivot away from the strike. Then he sweeps both hands together, striking inwards as if his left hand also contained a sword.
  21. Rebus nods. "I have Prismtite and Nullite. Morditite I could feasibly acquire, but Luxite would of course be quite difficult." Interesting... a mystery object... The Ghost's crystal ball receives the telepathy, and the familiar illusion of a shadowy figure appears. "Hello. Do you have a new job you need done?" Rebus narrows his eyes a bit, but does not comment.
  22. Rebus nods at the remote he'd tossed Balitan. "There's a button for that on there." Rebus grins widely. "As I said, I should clear up any misconceptions in time."
  23. "Don't be afraid to ask me questions." Rebus smiles, kindly then excited. "I want a legacy, and nothing would be as impactful as demonstrating another axis of reality. I have some preliminary evidence, but I need your help to make a sample." Rebus nods to Malevolence. "I do hope there is a practical component to this, though an ethics debate would be interesting. I'm sure you already know my moral character, though I should clear up any misconceptions in time."
  24. Alright, so we need me, you, and @NameIess. The Machination would love some lessons for it's members - the Ghost would probably even accept it as payment for a task.
  25. Who do you actually want in the evilness class?
