    “So I just did all this work for nothing?” “Fine. We’re bringing the logs, though.” Dray begins to load the logs, axe, saw, and rope into his backpack.

    “This is much more controlled than it was even twenty minutes ago. I wonder what happened.” Veer begins to walk towards the cafeteria, Gemini floating behind him.

    “I have ferrorods. But that is pretty good technique. Are you a scout too?” “Yeah, that looks good.” Dray takes a break, thunking the axe into the log he’d been chopping over. He comes over and begins to set up a log cabin style fire in the first fire circle, using his split wood and what everyone else had gathered.

    "Sure. Then I'll go find a magic councilor." he starts walking toward the cafeteria. "Wait a minute- my magic worked the way it was supposed to. And it still is!" Suddenly, things go back to levitating, and Veer quickly takes the circlet off. "Weird..."

    "Yeah, I can see that." Veer walks over to him, shaking his hand. "Good game."

    "Sure. We should wake Sleeper up first, though. Or I guess we could let him sleep." Nick finds a puddle to stand in, the suit soaking up the water.

    "Gemini? Are you ok? Can somebody check if I win?"

    "I'd think if we do that, they'd decided we're demons or something. And you might be confident, but in the movie, a bunch of little bear people with spears took down an entire stormtrooper platoon, including several walkers." "Yeah. I can see that. I think either you or I should do the initial introduction. You because you're the closest to these people, or me because I know the whole 'we come in peace. I am a representative of the interstellar intelligent species council and mean you no harm. If you wish, we shall leave until you contact us, but I believe that-' and so on thing. It was created to minimize the whole 'think we're supernatural beings and try to kill us' problem."

    “I know, right! I’ve had no connection this whole time and I had to bootstrap microchips with only one example.” Nick follows after him, seeming more used to his speed. “Just be careful. The reactions to us won’t be great, I’d expect.”

    Dray, absorbed in his wood chopping, doesn’t notice you leaving.

    “Huh. There’s people down there. We should go see if they know anything.”

    “Thank you.” Dray nods, handing him the saw. “Uh. Let’s see… that’s sharp, don’t get cut. And cut forward and back, not side to side, I think.” Once Raven cuts one log, Dray takes it to the axe yard, setting it up so he has something to chop on. He places the second log on top of it, then begins to chop it to pieces, his legs apart and the axe over his shoulder. “Nobody come in here without telling me.” @The Stormfather

    Nick taps Kaleb on the shoulder. “Can you open a hole in the bottom of the ice shelter? I’m gonna collect some rain.”

    Veer stands there, waiting for Gemini to do something else. If nothing happens, he begins lobbing more corn balls over the net.

    Dray finishes the axe yard and goes off into the woods. "Everyone not doing recon, listen up! We've got to work together or we'll die out here. You two! Stop horsing around." He points at Raven and Souls. "I need someone to saw this fallen tree into logs. We have enough tinder and kindling. Someone else, look for medium sized rocks and make three circles of them in an equilateral triangle. Sweep any leaves or pine needles to ten feet away from the fire pits. I'll chop our wood."

    "My sequencing is almost done, so it'll be another hour, I'd say, before the other suits are ready. The glasses should take around fifteen minutes." "I am worried about Merin. But we have a chance now. Sending Merryn in would destroy the show several times over." He salutes to the sky. "We'll be ready." Nick lets him sleep, operating under the assumption he still wants the tech.

    "That's tinder, but yes. Make a pile of wood shavings, a pile of dry branches, a pile of wet branches and green leaves, and we can try to drag a fallen tree or two over." "Excellent idea. I'll keep coordinating the fires."

    "Someone asked for a helicopter earlier - it didn't work. I do own all the stuff I've gotten so far - that may be related." Dray looks at you strangely, then helps you up. "Are you ok? Did the 'magic bag' conjure up something heavy?"

    "I'm making an axe-yard so I can chop wood safely, but I can try to build a shelter. A tent would be much-" Dray lurches as his backpack suddenly gets much heavier. "Huh. A tent."
