    Proximity. People (at least the average person. Note, seventy five percent of all people act the same, and the only exceptions are basted in experience.) look for one thing in friends: convenience. Well, they look for a couple things. Again, exceptions are based in experience. But convenience first. The most efficient way to make friends is to find the people most convenient to you, then initiate. Yap about what you did that day, details of what experiences you’ve shared, favorite movies, etc. Try to create commonality, and try to increase your interaction with them. Maybe you’ve been talking in history for a few days, and you want to get lunch with them. Maybe you’ve been sharing chicken jockey jokes at lunch, and you ask them to see the minecraft movie. TL;DR, talk to them a lot
