Also quick update once I am done I will put these models on makerworld if anyone wants to download/print them (yes I checked with Dragonsteel help and because I am not monetizing it I can post the file).

Sorry for the long wait without an update but after a week for resizing I have the bottom part of the bracer correctly sized and the top should be good to go as soon as it’s done printing.

Scrapped the old model and made this new one because the old model was giving me A LOOOOOT of issues with sizing hopefully. these turn out better!

Just a quick update the bracer are proving difficult but the test fitting should be done soon. V1 was wayyyyyy off, V2 fit kind of but there were some issues with movement/range of motion restriction so I am upping the height for V3 but I have a suspicion I may need to do a bit more height adjustment later

Finished the sizing/printing the rings (here is the 10 mm one) now I just have to do the bracers and I can start making the molds and casting them! (Also ignore the black between my fingers I have a habit of rubbing pencils between my fingers while I work lol)

Not to expensive I think. I can get 5lbs of basically pure (+99.99%) zinc for $40 USD but everything I am finding has trace amounts of cadmium (>0.0004%) and as someone who is not very familiar with all of this I am trying to find out how much is considered dangerous. (If anyone know the answer to this please tell me)

Lmao yes I love F-Zinc (also I am casting them out of zinc) Lol I hope they do! Also here are 6mm, 8mm, 10mm Zincmind rings Thanks!! Hopefully I can cast them later this week!

Version 1 of my zincmind (obviously I have to cut out part of the back so it is wearable) personally I am thinking of pivoting a bit and making it 1/2 the length of my arm instead of full length and making the zinc glyph an engraving instead of a cut out also making the zinc glyph a bit bigger. Looking for any feedback on how I could improve this. Did a small update like this one much more but still think I am gonna make a smaller one

While you make some good points my personal theory on this is imagine you are in a fight all you have to do is burn electrum for the shadows and tap zinc for mental speed then move to the shadow that doesn't get punched/shot/etc. I may be wayyyyyy underthinking this as I am much newer to this but that is my theory/reasoning. (Side note you make a good point about F-steel but I was going more for unique synergy than optimal abilities)

Someone on the discord pointed out that the increased comprehension from F-zinc may split A-electrum shadows. Their argument makes sense but I also feel that if that were true then people reacting to atium shadows would split the atium shadows. Thoughts?

For me personally F-zinc is S Tier (though I also like F-bronze and electrum) but zinc is just op like first as someone who goes into existential panic attacks I could just start filling my zinc mind I that should in theory make it much harder to over contemplate life plus that increased mental speed/comprehension when tapping would be awesome for productivity and problem solving (my specific use case would be as a programmer this would be useful)

I would say that for real life F-bronze or zinc and A-bendalloy because it would increase how much stuff you could do in a day but personally I would really want F-zinc and A-electrum

Just found out my school’s engineering department has a crucible and stuff to make silicone molds so I am going to try to cast some Terris rings and bracers for fun! Gonna post updates here. (For reference sake I have never done anything like this before so we’ll see how it goes)
