"Its good." Ash whispered, taking another bite.

Auryn crossed another street and jumped into another ally. She hid behind a shadowed doorway, fishing something from her cloak. She gave a sharp piercing whistle, and a dark figure appeared. they conversed in low tones for several minutes before she handed the figure something and rand down the ally again.

Ash fiddled with her spoon before putting a small bite of soup in her mouth.

Aruyn continued on her way down the ally, ducking from shadow to shadow. "Better now, though my head is still sore."

"Good."

Jacin rolled his eyes. "Do you want to get better? Do you even care?"

"Aye... so you have. But you never told me who you are."

"Who are you?"

"Please don't stop." Rex whispered, leaning into his touch. "I want to try to help, always." Auryn didn't reply. She stared walking again.

"Genteel men, please. It is not the time to fight." Jacin stepped between the two of them. "Xenk, how can we help stop this addiction of yours?"

"A Shadow can be anywhere. It is not the job of a mere mortal to questions the objective of the Shadow." Rex quickly wiped it away. "I'm sorry. Maybe you... don't want to become... attached to me. You're still healing from Julie, and I don't seem to be helping you at all."

"You can call me Shadow."

"Why should I tell you." She said over her shoulder. She leaned against him, letting out a small sigh of contentment. "Not even Julie?"

"You're welcome, but he may need... additional help..." Jacin glanced in Xenk's direction.

"oh.. Well, I'm very glad you did... I've never kissed anyone before..." Rex blushed looking at her lap. "That's nice. Now leave me alone." Auryn turned and stalked down the ally.

"He tried to drink himself to death, and tried to overdose with drugs. Is that normal?" Jacin eyed the man

"What makes that a problem? Did you think I wouldn't like a kiss?" "I belive that's the question I should be asking you, since you're the one spying on me!" Auryn growled, hand on the hilt of her sword.

Auryn turned around quickly, a small sound in the darkness behind her warning her that she wasn't alone. "Well, you never asked."

Jacin slugged Xenk in the arm before stepping forward and shaking the man's hand. "Hello, I'm Jacin. It's nice to meet you. I have some... things of some importance I wish to discuss with you about our friend Xenk over here." @Lightweaver2

Auryn ducked into an alleyway, running along it, crouched low. "Oh." Rex shifted uncomfortably, "May I ask why?"

Auryn ran to the other side of the street and plastered her back against the wall of a building, eyes darting around the crowd. "Daniel... It's not nothing. I can tell."

She touched his cheek. "Why do you look sad?" Auryn ducked under a man's arm and scrambled through the crowd, swinging left and right.

Auryn snapped into focus, watching the people with an excited tension. She stood straight, no longer leaning against the wall, and punched a man in the face, dropping him.
