Auryn crossed another street and jumped into another ally. She hid behind a shadowed doorway, fishing something from her cloak. She gave a sharp piercing whistle, and a dark figure appeared.
they conversed in low tones for several minutes before she handed the figure something and rand down the ally again.
"A Shadow can be anywhere. It is not the job of a mere mortal to questions the objective of the Shadow."
Rex quickly wiped it away. "I'm sorry. Maybe you... don't want to become... attached to me. You're still healing from Julie, and I don't seem to be helping you at all."
"oh.. Well, I'm very glad you did... I've never kissed anyone before..." Rex blushed looking at her lap.
"That's nice. Now leave me alone." Auryn turned and stalked down the ally.
"What makes that a problem? Did you think I wouldn't like a kiss?"
"I belive that's the question I should be asking you, since you're the one spying on me!" Auryn growled, hand on the hilt of her sword.
Jacin slugged Xenk in the arm before stepping forward and shaking the man's hand. "Hello, I'm Jacin. It's nice to meet you. I have some... things of some importance I wish to discuss with you about our friend Xenk over here."

Auryn ran to the other side of the street and plastered her back against the wall of a building, eyes darting around the crowd.
"Daniel... It's not nothing. I can tell."
Auryn snapped into focus, watching the people with an excited tension. She stood straight, no longer leaning against the wall, and punched a man in the face, dropping him.
