    Auryn watched a man stumble drunkenly towards her. he slid to the ground beside her and tried to draw her sword. "Storm off!" She said to him angrily. The drunkard didn't respond. He leaned forward and tried to grab her around the neck. "Ok... then what? We just ask around? That could take days!"

    She walked over to the entrance and sat down outside of it, back to the door.

    "I mean... I never even knew her... do you know her parent's first name or last name?" Auryn walked back toward the exit to the cavern, munching on her stolen roll.

    Auryn dozed for several hours in the tree. when she awoke, she clambered down and stole back into the town. Auryn swiped a roll from a merchant, ducked into an alley, and started running.

    Auryn settled herself in the tree and took a nap.

    Auryn walked to the edge of the town, head down, and walked out the gates. She found a tree a little ways off, out of sight, and climbed into it.

    Ash took another bite of her soup, staring at the table.

    "I want to go to that cliff... go over it." Ash deadpanned.

    "And you're probably worse for it." She said shortly.

    "Yes, thank you for saving me..." Rex walked out the door. Auryn trotted through the alley, stopping and handing a small parcel to a man in the corner.

    "Change is a bad thing. It... hurts." Ash winced, setting her spoon down.

    Auryn continued on her way. When she came to the end of the cavern, she sensed the door, opened it, and emerged in an alley close to the University.

    Rex blushed. "Shall we?" She motioned toward the door.

    *relief* I thought you had blinded yourself walking past a mirror on your third birthday yesterday...

    Auryn rolled her eyes. "Why are you following me? If I killed you, would you stop?" Rex laced her finger through his and stood beside him.

    Auryn ran out of the cavern and into the next one. --- "Ok..." Rex tucked the necklace back into her shirt. "My head feels better." She said to Daniel.
