About Nightblood, I just finished rereading Warbreaker and I thought that the way he could cut through pretty much anything was kind of similar to Shardblades.
What do you guys make of it?

For me, my childhood is a blur full of fantasy. I watched my mom play LoZ, my dad had me watch Star Wars and some Star Trek, and my siblings and I watched a bunch of fantasy movies (even the really cheesy D&D movie). I read a bunch of shorter fantasy novels when I was little, including some of the tree house series, all of Narnia, and Terry Pratchett's The Wee Free Men. I didn't read Harry Potter until right after the first movie came out, and before that I had read a bunch of other books I can't even remember....
So, yeah....My mom and dad aren't huge nerds, but they sure have made me into one.

No, this is not related to the horror movie with the same name.
I few months ago I read this in my English class, and I hadn't thought about it until this week. For some reason I can't get it out of my head.
It's pretty much one of the best fiction books I've read. The weird thing is there's hardly any plot at all. It's bizarre. But the writing is so great; in every page it had me thinking about the themes and motifs going on in the book. Some people don't like the ending/think it's improbable, but I think it fits well with the rest of the book, considering how bizarre everything is.
I'm having trouble finding a quick synopsis about it, but here's the wikipedia.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have read it.

I think the ending was pretty good for a kids book. I didn't look into plot holes a lot when I was reading it mostly because I was too focused on the awesome characters.
What I don't understand is why people suddenly disappear into puffs of smoke when they die in the last movie. Nobody did that in the other movies.
I really don't like it when directors aren't consistent

I won't be putting any fanart up anytime soon though ;.;

Yeah, it is.... But it's kind of inevitable for me when I have to do 24 pieces in 10 months :/
It's all good, at least I know what the problem is. Apparently tumblr doesn't like connecting with other blog things, though.

Hello Eric~
They were pretty fun to do until the last couple of months. I haven't really picked up a paintbrush since, because I was cramming in a ton of painting to send it all in on time.
Thank you~ I think that some of the themes have an RSS Feed option, so I'll change mine and see if it works.

Yup. Here I am. I was part of TWG for a few months, but was looking into this forum for a little bit as well. Since TWG is gone now, I decided I should just finally join up.
Uhhhh...I guess I should talk about myself a bit? I am an artist-in-training. I plan to major in illustration (I might do a double major with something else), and I'm starting out at BYUI, but hope to transfer to an art school in a couple years. My AP Art concentration was visual puns, because puns are awesome. Oh yeah, I plan to do a painting of one of the first scenes in Warbreaker. I'm excited to start on that, but it might not be for a while since I'm not good at painting people yet.
Other random things....I like to read, obviously. My favorite animals are elephants, penguins, hippos and (newly added) turtles. I enjoy biking, although I really don't do it much. I like cute things~<3 Oh, and I use that heart thing because it looks like a sideways heart balloon. It's nifty. Feel free to steal its awesomeness.
EDIT:
Is there a way I can connect my tumblrblog to the blog on here?
