I don't think perpendicularities give out free stormlight unless they reach the spiritual realm, which I don't think this one does.

Ninddle heads deeper into the Chasms and stops, making sure he memorizes the way back. He decides behind a boulder to hide and see if anyone (friendly or unfriendly) followed him. Time to find food, water and shelter.

I'm just saying that in every book that has a hunger games in the original, the tribute happens to cheat in some unintended way and win (or escape). so as some free advice to the gamemakers if you don't your games to collapse in your face, it might be smart to

To put it simply, everyone in it has to try and kill each other until only one is left. it's the ultimate death match

Unless one of the tributes outsmarts the system and gets the game maker in trouble. Cuz that would never happen.
