    Ezrium noticed something happening, as Amyra and Ninndle were staring very strangely at the Bobs. He hoped there wouldn't be any fighting. It really all is quite silly, isn't it? Ezrium thought. Have you gone mad? Vybre was very confused. Get a bunch of kids to fight eachother... for what purpose? To see who is the best? Who can survive? Who will WIN! But when they win... one will have to live with the consequences of their actions. Knowing that they have harmed, or even killed a mere child.

    Ezrium sadly looked at the limp body of his companion. He shed a single tear. It was his only friend. Now they were all dead. Sage didn't deserve to die. Ezrium knew that Sage should have lived. I shouldn't have lived this long. I could have prevented his death. No you could not. Stop blaming yourself for everything. Ezrium knew he had to protect Cassian, because Cassian had something that Ezrium did not: a purpose to win the games. Cassian had family and friends waiting back home for him. Ezrium couldn't fail Cassian like he did Sage. He couldn't let Cassian be a failure like himself.

    Ezrium peered at the petal. It was very colorful. Where had the boy discovered such a thing? He looked on, interested to see what would happen.

    Ezrium ran right behind Red, hoping to save Cassian so no one else would die. I will win this. For Sage.

    Ezrium watched Sage go down. There was nothing he could do. There was only one thing to do now. Protect Cassian and survive. He charged at the essence, striking it more aggressively than before. I have to survive. @[Redacted]

    "No!" Ezrium put all of his stormlit left into Sage, to save him from the midnight essence.

    Ezrium rushed onto the scene, and healed Sage very quickly, summoning Vybre as a shield and protecting him.

    Ezrium watched the explosive fly towards the essence's mouth, and covered his eyes when the explosion happens. The smoke floated away and he saw the essence still there.

    Ezrium pulled Cassian out of the way, away from both it and Sage. "Don't worry, everything will be all right," Ezrium told Cassian, and also himself. He pulled Cassian into a sort of awkward hug and shielded Cassian's eyes from the essence and everything else.

    Ezrium stabbed at the Midnight Essence (Whatever it was), over Cassian and aimed for the mouth.

    Ezrium sees Sage. "Thanks for the help." He continues blocking attacks, while also protecting Cassian at the same time.

    Ezrium summed a shard-blade (Or shield, whichever works better) and blocked the attack. "Cassian, run!" he told the boy, and continued to block the oncoming attacks.
