Ezrium grabbed her hand. And broke it.

Rue watches as she burns TAAron to a crisp. Over and over again. Feeling the pain. She felt the pain of being rejected, then of dying. It overwhelmed her. Jar Man suddenly disappears. He reappears in his room at the clinic. Or so he thought. It wasn't really the clinic, although it looked like it to him. He woke up, thinking it was all a dream.

Nova fell asleep. It would be MIGHTY inconvenient and rather strange if all of us were randomly chosen for the Hunger Games to fight to the death.

Jar Man suddenly appears in front of Melody. They both feel a sudden, uncontrollable anger, rage, hate for the other one. They began to fight, to prove they are better.

Melody was no longer watching all of it from a bystander's perspective. This time, Melody was viewing it all from her own perspective. But she was making all of the wrong choices. Becoming a monster.

Melody suddenly disappeared. She was now watching her entire life. All of the times she failed. All the times she let people die, because she wasn't good enough to save them. Man is suddenly Jar Man again, and is purged of all drugs whatsoever or any drug - like substances.

They cried out for her to stop. Melody could feel their pain, literally. Suddenly, she was inside one of their bodies. She watched as she killed herself. Man has to make a decision. Jars, drugs, or wine.

Man sees a bottle of wine. He feels the urge to drink it. And become Alcoholic Man! He also feels the urge to meditate. And become Meditating Man! Now he must choose. Melody saw all of her friends. Scared of her. She watched as she began to kill all of them.

Jar Man has an identity crisis, and he becomes Man, instead of Jar Man, as the Jar part is sucked out.

TAAron quickly enwraps her in a hug, and in a swift motions, kisses her. Melody looked around. She didn't know what was happening. She was... somehow becoming her past self. She was destroying everything. She had become the monster she had sworn to never become. Before Jar Man can swallow however, the eyeballs are pulled out of his mouth. He watches as ALL OF HIS JARS START FLOATING AWAY!

Jar Man looked around. He was suddenly purged of all drugs. He was out of supply. It was gone. He was drug free.

TAAron looked up at her. "Rue," he said softly, almost to tears. "Stay with me, stay here! We can be together. We'll never die, never feel any loss...!" Rue felt a slight urge to stay with him. Unaware to her however, her powers aren't working.
