Merp was Nova's best friend. No one in the world could beat Merp. Merp was the absolute best.

Nova loved Merp. If anything were to happen to Merp... let's just say it would not be good.

Nova tried to keep Merp warm. Merp had to survive.

"Do you see that?" Nova pointed towards a figure in the distance.

"Okay..." Nova said weakly.

"Should we head towards the middle to the other biomes?" Nova asked. @SmilingPanda19

Nova accepted it, glad for a friend. She put Merp on her shoulder.

Nova petted Merp again. She noticed that the item Len had given her was on the floor in front of Jock. She hugged Merp again as well.

"What's wrong? Are you okay? Why are you screaming?" Nova asked, rushing over, despite her broken leg.

Nova woke up, hearing violent chirps. "What happened?" She looked at the ice stairs, then back at Merp. "Do you know?"

Her hand was very cold. She lit the match but fell unconscious almost immediately after. The match kept Merp warm. Nova knew she had to protect Merp, as she valued Merp's life over her own.

Nova winced in pain when Merp stepped on her leg. It was bleeding. Nova looked at the match. "This is yours Merp! You need to protect it. Say, you want to spend my last final hours with me?" She petted Merp again. She loved her new friend.

"Merp? That's a very amazing name!" Nova petted the ferret. She looked at the match then at the ferret. She gave the match back to Merp.

"Hi, I'm Nova, what's your name? Do you want to be friends?" Nova asked the ferret.

Nova looked at it back. She gave it a hug.

Nova cautiously moved towards it a little, then realized that she was not going to win. She uncovered it to see what it was.

Nova curled up, ready to die. Throughout her life she had had nothing but pain and agony. There really was no reason to survive. However, she had nothing to kill herself with, so she simply sat there.

Nova tripped and slid a little bit. But she quickly stopped. She fell into a chasm. She broke her leg. She looked around, for literally anything.
