He laid down, then, noticing she wasn't laying herself, he said, "I know you haven't done this before, but the first step is to lay down, then, now here's the crazy part, you close your eyes. Now you try." He held back a laugh, barely containing his mirth, but smiled stupidly instead

He sits on the bed, "Well good night then" He pulled the blanket and one of the pillows of the bed and handed them to her. "Please, I insist."

He followed her in, closing the door behind him. He sat on the floor next to her. "Yikes, you couldn't have chosen a lamer floor to sleep on, as a connoisseur of such things, I would not recommend such low quality paneling." He smiled at his joke, unable to resist

He sighs, "Fine, but you're taking the bed next time, and there's no arguing."

"It does sound ridiculous, now that I think about it. Correction, it is an honor to sleep on the floor for you."

"A sharp blow to the head is gonna be different than several hours with a sore neck and back. Plus, as a man, I could never let you sleep on the floor. Trust me, I've slept on floors hundreds of times, I'd say I'm pretty used to it"

"Given the fact that you've never fallen asleep before, you might want to take the bed."

"That's not quite how it works... you'll end up falling asleep out here, and I don't think the owners of this place will take kindly to that."

He sighed, "Since you're mortal now, you do need to sleep... I think we should just get it over with, but if you want I can probably sleep on the floor." He winced at his words

He took it, smiling, and continued walking with her.

His eyes widened, "Seriously?" He wrapped her in a hug and spun her around. After setting her down, he blushed, "Sorry that was a little much, wasn't it."

Rallohir, noticing this, put his hand on her shoulder, "Hey, are you ok?" His expression grew worried

"I forgive you, and I always will. I hope you know that."

"For what?" He smiled further

"Problems would come to me anyway, so why not have someone to add joy to the mix, especially someone like you." He smiled, looking her in the eyes
