    Sage groaned. He was dying. And then… he was less dying? The pain was fading. Ezrium, he thought. Ezrium was healing him. “Thank… thank you…” he rasped. “But… why?”

    Sage screams and falls to the ground. He starts using stormlight, trying to heal the wound. He gasps for breath, struggling on the ground, drawing in all of the stormlight stored in the gemstones he gathered earlier. Slowly, he starts to heal.
