  1. If Admiral Worm had lips, he would be curling them in disgust. "What do we do with the Canadian pacifist?"
  2. "Okay..." Sage walked out of the inn and started climbing the wall.
  3. "Yeah, let's do that." Sage looked around. "How good of a climber are you?"
  4. Sage reluctantly returned to his room. "Now what?" He asked Ezrium. @Canada Lover
  5. Sage held a knife to the man's throat. "Get the storms out of here, you idiot."
  6. Finally got into the three digits. I lord over the house!
  7. Oh. Well I can't exactly see how the gamemakers will find you on a lost planet, but it's probably fine. I don't think it would be allowed, but I'm not a GM.
  8. Didn't Earth get destroyed, or something? That's why they were on Detritus.
  9. Alera screamed awake. Her dad came rushing in from the other room. "What is it, Alera?" Alera took a deep breath. "Nothing," she said. "Just nightmares." Her father sat down on the bed next to her, enveloping her in a warm hug. "It's okay," he whispered. "It's okay, little Twig." Alera sobbed into his arms. "I miss them, dad." "I know. But you will always have me," her father said. "We will always be together, Alera." Alera eventually drifted back to sleep.

  11. I was going to reread it anyways, this just gives me incentive.
  12. I started reading the series again to prep for this. Guess I have a week to finish it.
  13. "Yeah, that would be good."
  14. "I am Admiral Worm, and I serve as the leader of the no-legs, meaning I can command worms, maggots, slugs, leeches, snakes, snails, and other no-legged land animals."
  15. "There are, uh, multiple universes?" Altair said. "Wait, there's a multiverse? That's so cool!"
  16. Sage went down to the kitchens and caused a diversion that drew a lot of people away from his target. He snuck around the remaining cooks and stole a few long, sharp knives. Sage returned to the room and handed two to Ezrium. "I found some weapons." @Canada Lover
  17. A vision filled Sage's mind: A massive, brilliant silvery sword. It was the most elegant thing Sage had ever seen. Well, he thought it was. But it was over in a moment. "No," he said. "No, I suppose we'll have to make do."
  18. "Yes." He hesitated. "Do... we have weapons?"
  19. Sage walked to the front table and started conversing with the person there. "Me and my friend would like a room, good sir." "Can you pay?" Sage brought out a few marks. "How much?" The man at the bar stared at them, then laughed. "This thing is a joke, no? This is no currency! Where is the coins?" "Listen, friend, there are gemstones in here. This thing is valuable, no?" The man hesitated. "I suppose he will work." He snatched the spheres out of Sage's hand and gave him a key. "Take room eleven." "Many thanks." Sage walked over to Ezrium. "I got us a room." @Canada Lover
  20. I think so. Sage dug around in his pocket and pulled out a handful of spheres. Will they accept this?
