Aydri whirls on Cedar. "Never had a PANCAKE?!" She asks incredulously. "Man, we gotta fix that!"
Not really. Elan says into her mind, I think... somethings not right... some parasite. But I'm sure it'll be fine? He doesn't sound so sure.
"Thanks. I... dunno. I just didn't expect you there. I'll go ahead and make a pancake for you too."
Clay and Weaver step back. "Woah," Clay says, "We aren't biologically related to him. As far as I know he was an only child, and even if he wasn't all his siblings would be dead."
"Oh. Dang. Guess we should leave though. Hold your breath and... can you run yet?"
Aydri laughed too. "I didn't know pancakes were so sticky!" She pulls out a stepladder and carefully peels the pancake off the roof.
"Yeah." She flips the pancake, and flinches as it sticks to the ceiling. "... lemme go grab a stepstool."
"It's not that hard. I mean, you can just-" Elan pauses. "You guys have to breathe to live don't you."
Another Outrech faded into existence. His mind was empty, no memories present. He looked down at his hands, in awe at the sensation of existence. How strange... he clenched his fists, then unclenched them. This would take some getting used to.
Elan steps behind a massive metal shield that he summons. In case she exploded.
"Thank you!" she says cheerily. "Now, can you go wrestle the milk-grizzly to get..." she checks the recipe, "Three cups of milk."
