  1. No problem! Maybe I'll stick a new character in here later For now, though, I think I'll leave them dead.
  2. The Once-Author flinched as he died. It felt strange. Cold. He kept his hold on the Authorblade as his body collapsed behind him. He still felt pain. Deep, agonizing pain. He stepped forward, eyes on Ryss. "I am The Once-Author. I was cast down, and I survived. I have felt pain, more pain than many could bear. I am Elan. I experienced this world, helped its people, and was murdered in cold blood. And now I have returned to reclaim my place. I made you, I was your author, you have been and will forever be mine." The Once-Author stabbed Ryss in the chest, and the Authorblade worked. Ryss screamed, his body collapsing in on itself, power exploding outwards. The world, both ethereal and physical, was ripped apart, vaporized. The Once-Author felt his spirit fading. He took one last look around. Goodbye. He thought to whoever listened. And then he was gone. Narration flooded the world, seeping into it, and it reformed. Everyone stood where they were, as they were. No one had seen what had happened, none would know of it or remember it. The only variation: The Once-Author's body was gone.
  3. The Once-Author didn't make a sound. His body felt cold as power was pulled, ripped out of his body. He looked forwards, seeing something he didn't understand. Ryss stood there, a dark look on his face. The Once-Author thought back to his time with the Dreamsmith. A weapon... a sword that won't work... except on your characters. His narration was disappearing quickly, and his body felt lighter. He held on tightly to his Authorblade, steadying his arm. Not yet... but almost.
  4. The Once-Author sat in a fetal position, sobbing, face contorted in pain. I deserve this? I... I deserve this... Yes. Yes you do. Ryss whispered. The pain ripped into the Once-Author's body. But then he remembered. Remembered his time here. A mortal. A hard life. But it was something. He reached out and grabbed his blade. "I will not die without a fight." He said, his muscles sore, his face covered in sweat."You will not have me that easily."
  5. The Once-Author doubled over in agony, his body pulsing in and out of reality. His authorblade fell from his hand, his face contorting in pain. You will fall. Forever. A pain that will never end. PAIN. "Stop..." The Once-Author plead to Falvan. Without his powers he couldn't stop Ryss from hurting him. Killing him. His breath was ragged, his windpipe closing up. "Stop..." Tears leak out of his eyes, his hands clawing the sand, head down.
  6. Emma stayed alone at home, cleaning up and doing other menial labor. She wondered how things were going for Meron.
  7. "Yep. Not at me." "Dang it."
  8. The Once-Author draws his authorblade. "Falvan. Stop."
  9. "How about we all leave?" The Once-Author says, flinching.
  10. Clay and Weaver followed. They were in a brightly lit library, everything glowing white. Shelves seemed to stretch into the distance.
  11. "NO PLEASE DON'T THROW IT AT ME!" "C'mon, just do it!"
  12. The Once-Author clenched his teeth. He didn't like this. Not at all. A burning grew in his chest, a twisting pain. Now you know how it feels... Ryss seemed to say.
  13. "Υep! We should try it! Throw it at me!" OWEN says.
  14. "Probably." The OA mouthed back. He tried to open a portal. @ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ
  15. "No idea." The OA mouths back. "Favlan, don't do something you regret... I'm more powerful than you think." He says it with confidence, but inside something in him shook. That weapon... it didn't seem natural. He prepared to summon his authorblade.
  16. Kaleb, who has recovered, grabs one of the medieval weapons (a spear) and a pack of food.
  17. "It's the only way. We need the knowledge. Maybe the One Gone Mad will have recovered..." "Doubtful."
  18. They show up on a beach in the middle of nowhere. @ΨιτιsτηεΒέsτ
