Ashoka looks interesting but I'm most hyped for Arcane S2. Not sure if it'll be out this year, though I spent all my birthday wishes on it, but I'm hopeful.
Is there a large disconnect between the books and the show? I watched S1 of Shadow and Bone and it was alright but I might pick up the books if they're just better.
The Lord of the Rings films were overly long and just kind of alright. Not the cinematic masterpiece that people make it out to be. Great at parts, like the Ride of the Rohirrim, but just fine otherwise.
Never understand the SAO hate. It was good for what it was. Don't know how the follow up shows fare but the original was good enough.
Log Horizon is great if you're into the concept. It's more economy and kingdom-building-ish than SAO but still great. Definitely one of the best.
Also Grimgar which I liked but your mileage may vary.
HxH is a great manga crippled by a sporadic release schedule. Can't get into it knowing I'll be left wanting for more for months and months. Sad but the author has health issues so what can you do.
Alternatively, I really hope a new anime is made that continues up to the dark continent arc because that rust is baller content.
Currently gotten into The Silo. First episode seems solid so far and I do love me some post-apocalyptic nonsense, which is what this seems to be. Also got Foundation and House of the Dragon on my radar... eventually.
Heyo. I'm Curry, a budding artist and a fresh fan of the series. Currently only have Elantris under my belt, but I've starting burning through the first Mistborn book. Pleasure to be here.
