“Cool, thanks bird. Do you have a name? Scree once for yes. And who are you?” She asked to the man.

“Are you a sentient bird? Scree three times if yes.” That might explain why the guy was talking to the bird on his head.

Addison saw someone sitting on the ground, talking to a bird in their hair. That was strange, though not as strange as some of the things she’d seen. “Why is there a bird in your hair?” she asked the man, characteristically blunt. @Edema Rue

He followed her, smiling. He thought about how hard it was to not smile around Jenny again. She was just so…perfect. He looked at Rob and Harold, but didn’t wave.

Huh, it’s been a while since I’ve posted one of these.
First track meet of the season today!
I’m storming tired though, today was a long, if enjoyable, day, filled with pushing my body to the limits. I ran the 4x800 meter and the 800 in the 1600 medley. My times were 2:19 and 2:22, both faster than my previous best of 2:25. I need to get faster, but it’s improvement and it feels good.
Pretender by AJR is a very relatable song. How nice it was today to not have to hide.
